Why would someone say light cooking? Home prepped meals really warms up the house and it´s encouraged.

It´s a house full of people & different schedules. So please use ear plugs if necessary. If you´re a light sleeper or can´t sleep on a single mattress, this may not be the right place for you.

We are a very communal/respectful group and strive to provide space for everyone to work and hangout. Remember that work, musical instruments and books take precedence over the television.

Located in the heart of Menlo Park and just a 5 minute walk to Menlo Park Caltrain Station, restaurants and groceries. Downtown Palo Alto and Stanford are also really accessible from the home.

Nealon Park and Burgess Park are super close. The Guild Theatre hosts midnight screenings of the Rocky Horror Shows on the first Saturday of every month. Café Borrone has an excellent menu and atmosphere. Downtown Menlo is stacked with good eats and great grocers like Trader Joe´s and Draeger´s. Other establishments that are less than a block away include: Safeway, Starbucks, CVS & BevMo.

Palo Alto: You are less than half a mile from Stanford Mall and only one mile away from downtown Palo Alto! Stanford University and Palo Alto Town & Country Plaza is just an arm´s reach away from there.

The location is ideal in terms of walkability. Caltrain is conveniently located on the other side of El Camino.

This is far the best place I ever stayed. Firstly it was really clean. Vic is great at picking guests, so people at home were super friendly. Every Wednesday (or Thursday) evening there are food trucks at Caltrain station, they are cheap and delicious. I had some studies for my startup at Stanford during all my 5 months stay, and it was just a-10-min bike to Stanford and the same for the Palo Alto downtown. Food stores are a few minutes away like Safeway, Trader's Joe, etc. I loved the amazingly designed Starbucks cafe 1 min away from the house. I was grabbing my coffee and working there for hours. Vic is a very thoughtful person when it was someone's birthday; he was leaving a birthday cake and or organizing a barbecue event. I met great people in that house, all from top companies or Stanford. You will feel exclusive there, and I believe you will love Menlo Park Hacker Home more than I did with unforgettable memories.
