Get away from city life at a dream retreat in the country! Located in Hopatcong, New Jersey, 1.5 hours west of New York City, this is one house in a music and art community with two separate entrances. You’ll have a private bedroom and access to all common areas: A sunny, enclosed porch great for music practice, writing, drawing or painting, two eat-in kitchens, two full baths (one bathroom and one kitchen on each floor) and two activity rooms good for doing yoga, socializing with others, watching TV, doing large projects or setting up a photography station. There is high-speed internet and cable TV and off-street parking. Furnishings and equipment are tailored to our Artist-Guests. For instance, musicians can request amps, instruments and music stands, and artists and writers can request appropriate work tables. In the warmer months, the Art Garage, a common area, is available for large projects like sculpture.

The outdoor area includes a front lawn, small outdoor covered porch, and 2 patios equipped with outdoor furniture. A barbecue grill is also available. In autumn, the changing leaves are spectacular. If you like to walk, bring comfortable walking shoes because it is very hilly and you can get quite a workout. There is a natural back yard area which is great if you are bringing a dog.
