Stabio is a quiet and well-connected village in southern Canton Ticino, right on the Swiss–Italian border. The area combines residential calm with excellent access to major cities - Lugano, Como and Milano.
The neighborhood is part of the Mendrisiotto region, known for its vineyards, soft hills and cycling trails. Residents can enjoy peaceful walks, local parks and easy access to the many restaurants and cafés in Mendrisio and Chiasso. The nearby green areas offer great spaces for running or outdoor exercise.

La Dichiarazione di Domicilio viene generata automaticamente al momento del check-in in loco. Se necessaria prima, viene rilasciata una volta confermato il pagamento della prenotazione.
Per soggiorni superiori a 30 giorni, gli ospiti devono notificare il loro arrivo all'Ufficio Controllo Abitanti entro 8 giorni. I documenti richiesti sono un documento d'identità o un passaporto, la dichiarazione di soggiorno (Dichiarazione di Domicilio) rilasciata dalla struttura, la prova dell'assicurazione sanitaria e, se applicabile per i cittadini svizzeri, il libretto di servizio militare. Gli ospiti che intendono stabilire il proprio domicilio devono inoltre fornire una documentazione aggiuntiva richiesta dal Comune, come la dichiarazione di partenza dal comune precedente, un atto di origine o un permesso di soggiorno.
Per i soggiorni superiori a 28 notti, le prime 28 notti vengono fatturate e pagate in anticipo. Le notti rimanenti vengono fatturate separatamente ogni 28 notti. I prolungamenti richiedono una nuova prenotazione e un nuovo check-in all'inizio del periodo prolungato, con conseguente rilascio di una nuova Dichiarazione di Domicilio aggiornata.
Le cancellazioni sono gratuite fino a 30 giorni prima dell'arrivo. Le cancellazioni effettuate entro 30 giorni dall'arrivo comportano l'addebito dell'intero costo del soggiorno.
A seconda della durata del soggiorno, può essere richiesto un deposito cauzionale di 200 franchi svizzeri.
