Wallet
Quick answer: The Wallet page is where hosts review money-related account setup. Use it to check your wallet balance, add saved payment methods for charges, manage payout accounts for receiving funds, and understand the payout fee shown on the page.
What the Wallet page is for
The Wallet page gives you one place to manage the financial setup connected to your host account. It is not a booking statement by itself; it is the account-level area for payment methods, payout accounts, balances, and payout readiness.
Use this page when you need to:
- Check the wallet balance shown next to the page title
- Add or review a payment method
- Add or review a payout account
- Confirm which payout account is ready to receive host payouts
- Check the payout fee shown near Payment Accounts
Wallet balance
The balance next to the Wallet title shows the current wallet amount recorded for your host account. Depending on your account activity, this may include credits, adjustments, or wallet transactions created from bookings and operational corrections.
If the balance does not match what you expect, compare it against booking payments, payout records, and any support-confirmed adjustments before contacting support.
Add Payment Method
The Add Payment Method button is for adding a saved payment method that Coliving.com can charge when your host account needs to pay something.
Payment methods are different from payout accounts. A payment method sends money from you to Coliving.com. A payout account receives eligible host funds from Coliving.com.
Keep a valid payment method on file when your account has pending charges, billing adjustments, or other host-related balances.
Payment Accounts
The Payment Accounts section is where you manage payout accounts for receiving host payouts. These accounts may include bank, PayPal, Stripe, or other supported payout methods depending on your country and account setup.
Use this section to confirm:
- The payout account name is recognizable
- The currency is correct
- The setup or verification status is complete
- The default account is the one you want Coliving.com to use
If no payout account is added, payouts may be delayed until a valid account is set up and verified.
Payout fee
The payout fee shown near Payment Accounts tells you the fee rate currently displayed for payouts from this wallet area. The final payout amount may also depend on booking currency, provider costs, transaction fees, and any booking-specific adjustments.
For accounting, review booking payout records and wallet transactions together rather than relying on the fee label alone.
When to use each Help button
Use the Help button at the top of the Wallet page when you want a general explanation of the Wallet screen.
Use the Help button next to Payment Accounts when you need help adding, verifying, choosing, or troubleshooting payout accounts.
Before contacting support
If something looks wrong, collect the wallet balance shown, the payout account name, the payout currency, the booking number if relevant, and any error or setup status shown on the page.
Do not send full card, bank, or identity document details in messages. Support can ask for the safe next step if more verification is needed.
