We are located in Boyaca Department, Colombia, right in the Middle Andes Mountain range, right in Lake Chivor. Our climate is 24-30 C being November to March the warmest and May, June, and July the coldest.
Every one of our rooms has full scenic views of the mountain and lake, which will never fail to take our guests' breath away. We offer a WeWork-style co-working space with an excellent internet connection and a printer, and superb connectivity throughout the communal areas. This all comes with kind and professional in-house staff, including cooks that prepare healthy meals with locally grown and mostly organic ingredients. We offer various dietary needs and restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, etc.) and will have your taste buds buzzing at every meal. Please note that the price for three meals each day is 16 USD per day (we do not provide self-catering at this time, but the daily menu can be customized to your dietary needs).

Our house offers the perfect set-up to meet high-level fitness enthusiasts' demands and those seeking relaxation. We have a gym with a resident coach, equipped with the main CrossFit elements (barbells, dumbbells, climbing ropes, Olympic rings, rack, boxes...) and a large covered space with scenic views ideal for practicing yoga.

Nature encircles the property; there is lake access for open water swimming directly across from the kitesurfing spot just a few meters from our guestrooms, and hilly paths ideal for hiking and bike riding directly behind the house. During kite season ( August - March), we have Certified IKO instructors providing kitesurfing lessons at every skill level (at an extra cost). Chivorkite also caters to trail runners who take advantage of the endless trails and training possibilities in the surrounding areas.

Community

Our typical resident is an active person who enjoys nature, outdoor sports, and working out. This is not imperative, as you can opt in and out of daily activities such as mountain biking or CrossFit. Many of us, however, are specialized in certain practices (yoga, kitesurfing, martial arts, rock climbing) and enjoy sharing new disciplines and techniques. Our only requirement is that our guests have a cool and laid-back attitude. This ensures a great vibe and will help create unforgettable memories.

About Los Naranjos - Chivor Lake

Our neighboring areas offer the most authentic Colombian countryside experience to our guests. In this historically safe and secluded area, life remains at a standstill. You will be witness to the slow and tranquil lifestyle of local countrymen who carry out their day-to-day lives. There are cows, exotic fruit trees, free-range chickens, and crops that surround our property. In this bucolic time capsule, you will be taken back to the most serene scenes from simpler times, eliminating any hint of the stress from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The vicinity has small towns where locals gather and can often be seen playing the national sport of " tejo" or conversing the afternoon away.

The closest town is located on the other side of the lake, there is ATMs, Pharmacy Government office (“Notaria”) to get there you can either cross in kayak or boat and either hike 40min through the mountain or pay for a taxi (10 min) to take you faster through the main road.
