Only the policy attached to your booking applies. The table below compares the available policies for cancellation before move-in.

These percentages refer to the first month's rent, not the total price of your stay. After the applicable deadline, the policy does not provide a refund of the first month's rent, unless a separate cancellation exception applies.
Check your booking's deadline and refund
Open your booking details to find your selected policy and move-in date. Use the deadline shown there; cancellation timing is based on the property's timezone and the move-in time specified in your booking.
A percentage in the table is not a promise to refund that percentage of every payment. If you have paid only a down payment, the amount refundable can differ from a fully paid first month. Fees, security deposits and payments for later months are separate from the first-month rent comparison. Check the refund breakdown in the cancellation flow and contact support if any amount is unclear.
Some bookings qualify for a full refund within 24 hours of confirmation. Check your booking details for eligibility and the exact deadline before relying on this option.
How to cancel
- Open your booking details.
- Select Cancel your stay.
- Review the applicable policy and refund breakdown.
- Complete and submit the cancellation form.
Sending the host a message does not complete the platform cancellation. Under the Resident Terms, cancellation takes effect when you successfully submit the form.
