Over Sonta Coliving
In het dorp wonen Kroaten, Serviërs, Hongaren, Roma en anderen, die vreedzaam naast elkaar leven. Maak je geen zorgen - er is hier geen oorlog. Je bent veilig.
We brengen digitale nomaden, telewerkers, NGO-activisten, kunstenaars en nieuwsgierigen samen die op zoek zijn naar een rustigere, langzamere en zinvollere manier van leven en werken. Als je hunkert naar natuur, eenvoud en gemeenschap - dan is dit jouw plek.
Sonta Coliving is opgezet door leden van het Centrum voor Cultuur en Educatie Sonta, een jongerenorganisatie die zich al jaren inzet voor een betere, meer inclusieve gemeenschap.
Naast het ontvangen van gasten, hebben we ook projecten die gericht zijn op verzoening, interculturaliteit en lokale ontwikkeling. We verbouwen voedsel, maken wijn en rakia, kopen van buren en delen gezonde zelfgemaakte maaltijden.
Honden blaffen, treinen passeren in de verte en de tijd vertraagt.

Really enjoyed my stay at this coliving. Nikola and Sara were very welcoming and accommodating. The town is small but bike-friendly (there are bikes available for use). They always try to plan events and keep you busy, as well as help you get to know the locals whenever possible.
Great place to stay in nature. Kind hosts. Excellent food. Highly recommended!

I would like to go straight to:
1. They helped me with the way to the place. The owner gave advice on how to get there and gave a ride from the bus station to the coliving.
2. There are many options for grocery shopping and food preparation. . Separately, for large purchases, we went to the supermarket. Cooking on a campfire
A good and friendly place. I enjoyed my short stay here so much. I was here to create contacts and network for our norwegian coliving place opening later.
Next time I will come back to Sonta for coliving/coworking on a longer stay. The garden, the place, everything. The idea of real coliving is alive here.
