Het verhaal van de oprichter
Het idee om een marktplaats voor coliving-woningen te bouwen begon in een startup-huis in de zomer van 2014. Onze oprichter Daniel Beck bezocht Silicon Valley voor de eerste keer om de Golden Gate Bridge, Google, Facebook en de Apple campus te zien. Wat hem opviel waren de ontelbare gedreven en optimistische mensen die hij ontmoette terwijl hij daar verbleef. Allemaal hadden ze problemen met het vinden van goede huisvesting. Hoe spannend het ook is, op afstand werken terwijl je reist of naar een nieuwe stad verhuist voor een nieuwe start kan ook eenzaam en ontmoedigend zijn. Het idee voor Coliving.com werd duidelijk. Hij wilde dat iedereen ook deze gemeenschappen van gelijkgestemden kon vinden. Coliving.com wil mensen in contact brengen met de gemeenschappen die voor hen zijn gemaakt.
