Belfast is the capital city of Northern Ireland. If you've ever wanted to live close to the Irish border and have a mix of English and Irish culture then this is a great coliving destination. Belfast is actually on the island of Ireland but is officially a part of the United Kingdom. There are only 675,000 residents in the metropolitan area, making this a more quiet place for digital nomads to call their home base. Despite its size, there is so much to do and see in this beautiful city.

Belfast is rather unique because it is surrounded by mountains but is also pressed up against the sea, which gives Belfast a moderately cool climate year-round. Belfast is scattered with many beautiful parks making this is a great place to get outside and get active. In the evening after a day of working online, you won't have to walk too far to find a new favorite pub or a relaxing little restaurant. Belfast has a slow-paced life and you can easily hop in your car to get outside the city for the weekend and experience the incredible landscapes and fresh air.

Belfast is a mostly car-dependent city compared to European standards. So this might be a good investment if you're wanting to live outside of the city center. But as with any other major city, there are still public buses and rail systems that can take you to most places within the city. A short drive away is the Belfast International Airport, with flights all over Europe and seasonal routes to Orlando, Florida and more.
