If you're ready to try a city with a twist, then Malmö should be at the top of your list. Not only a melting pot of mixed cultures, from over 170 countries, in fact, it's also a combination of old mixed in with new. For example, when coliving here you can spend your days exploring the cobblestone streets of Gamala Staden (old town) getting a taste of the city's history, before moving on in the evening to check out the trendy shops, art galleries and cool cafes which fill up the rest its streets.
When days off from remote working come around, it's a must to visit the 16th-century fortress of Malmö Castle. Full of nature, history, and art exhibits, any nomad will find plenty to feed their mind. If not so artsy, you can head down to Malmö's city beach, Ribersborgsstranden (often referred to as 'Ribban').
The bicycle is considered the best option for travel around the city, with over 305 miles of cycle pathways for you to explore the place. Meaning you can get everywhere you need to go, without ever relying on the extensive bus network.
A hot tip is to check out the Slottsträdgården, which is west of the Old Town. This is a 12,000 square meters garden full of ornamental plants, a rose and orchard garden, with the icing on the cake being the beautiful Japanese garden. You won't be able to say you can't find some peace of mind outside of your coliving hub once you've been here.
Food is aplenty in Malmö, but if you're ready to be a bit more daring, as many digital nomads are, then be sure to check out the Disgusting Food Museum. Be prepared to be repulsed!
