Stuttgart is a car-loving city, and home to not one, but two car manufacturing giants. Both Mercedes-Benz and Porsche have museums and headquarters in this city. Meaning any nomads looking for a coliving opportunity should keep this place in mind.

A landmark itself is the Mercedes-Benz Museum, which is a double helix-shaped metallic building. Visitors can travel through time to learn all about the humble beginnings of the automobile. On the other hand, the Porsche Museum is focused on a more sense based and interactive experience. There’s a sound installation controlled by a touch wall, which is well worth the visit.
But Stuttgart is also more than its cars. It houses the Wilhelma Zoological-Botanical Garden, which is both a botanical garden and well-visited Zoo, that’s all situated in the grounds of the Royal Palace. The city is also filled with plenty of parks, where nomads can rotate between work sprints, and enjoying the green spaces.

Remote workers can visit this city all year round, but from September into October, the Neckarpark Stuttgart hosts the world’s second-biggest beer festival. So it’s a case of planning your time around it there or missing it completely. Food-wise, the trendy Markthalle provides all your specialty food needs as well as all your coliving cupboard staples like meat, cheese, wine, and vegetables. When visiting though make sure to look up to admire the Art Nouveau design.

Travel around the city easily using the buses and metro systems. A few German phrases wouldn’t go amiss either, but you should be fine with English for the majority of your stay in this car-loving hub.
