The mountains are calling… or is it Bansko? Bulgaria is one of the world's hottest spots for digital nomads. Its affordability, paired with surreal mountainscapes, makes it the best place to disconnect (or rather, connect)!
Bansko has a super-fast WiFi connection, and lots of digital nomads call it their home base because of its amazing community, views, and convenience. Bulgaria borders Greece, Turkey, Serbia, and Macedonia, so it’s easy to explore while never worrying about your ability to stay online. It's time to embrace the wholesome Bansko lifestyle with cold plunges, hot springs, and one of the highest ratios of coworks per capita!
We really value authentic local experiences and our community manager will always be there to help and facilitate a great experience. Come hang out with our community here and see what kind of adventures you can explore together. Some activities we like to do together:
- Start the morning in the local style with a cold dip in the nearby river (amazing health benefits)
- Fish your own fish and get it cooked for you at Ribarnika
- Visit Regnum Hotspring, explore the alpine lakes in the Pirin National Park & hike up to Vihren Peak
- Take the famous train trip from/to Sofia with all the mountain views
- Go to the local Sunday Market in the historic old town or take a salsa class at the municipality or a yoga class at Lotus vibe

About Bansko center
Our coliving home in Bansko has 13 rooms, all with mountain views, desks, and super-strong WiFi, perfect if you want to work from home.
- 10 minute walk to the historic center
- Shops and restaurants all nearby
- 10 minute walk to the forest
- 2 hours drive to Greece
Hungry? Order straight from the Mehana, a traditional Bulgarian restaurant right at home. Your host is also a chef and can whip up anything you’d like from the menu. And for those looking to blow off some steam (literally), there’s a sauna waiting for you.
In Bansko our coliving house has desks in rooms as well as a workzone in the restaurant. We also include 2 days of coworking every week at our partner, Nestwork Coworking.
Nestwork is a short walk from our coliving home and allows our nomads to network with others and stay motivated! Nestwork is an incredible space with multiple zones, some for intense concentration and some to chill. We can provide you access to our special rates at Nestwork Coworking if you would like to add more days.

Yes we are pet friendly in our Bansko house!
Yes, we have designated workspaces in our coliving house, including desks in rooms and a work zone in the restaurant. We also offer coworking access at a nearby partner location, which is a great place to network and stay motivated. Extra fees may apply for additional days at the coworking space.
Like minded digital nomads and remote workers
Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.
If the accommodation is not suitable, please contact the staff on arrival and they will do their best to find a mutually agreeable solution.
