Bright interiors open directly to nature, while coworking areas with reliable high-speed Wi-Fi ensure you can stay productive. The shared kitchen makes home-style cooking easy, and common spaces—from the large terrace with sea and mountain views to cozy lounges and outdoor gardens—invite both focus and relaxation.

In your free time, join hikes, yoga sessions, or simply unwind by the indoor fireplace or outdoor firepit under the stars. Your host, Rita, makes everyone feel welcome, while resident French Bulldogs Oscar and Olivia add an extra touch of warmth to the community.

Note: We’re currently working on our garden forest and adding a swimming pool. While there may be some visual inconvenience during your stay, the pool is expected to be ready by September.

Monchique is a charming mountain town surrounded by dense forest. Small but full of character, it offers all the essentials—restaurants, cafés, a pharmacy, local markets, gas stations, and other conveniences—while maintaining a relaxed, authentic atmosphere.

The Monchique mountains are a paradise for hikers, with dozens of marked trails to explore. Highlights include Barranco do Demo, the dramatic Foia Peak (the highest point in the Algarve with breathtaking views), and the historic Caldas de Monchique, a thermal spa area just a 20-minute walk away.

The local food scene is a delicious contrast to the Algarve coast. Here, you’ll find specialties like black pork (the famous Iberian pork), octopus and squid stews, grilled fish, and the iconic spicy chicken piri-piri. For the adventurous, don’t miss Medronho, the fiery local spirit said to be excellent for digestion.
