Having seen a revival in spirit recently, Jersey City has become a coliving spot in its own right. Much more affordable than New York, it offers access to a lot of the same attractions that staying in New York would but at a fraction of the overall cost.
Most notably what draws many people in is its proximity to the Hudson River. Imagine walking down the Hudson, seeing stunning views of the Manhattan Skyline, with the opportunity to check out one of the many pedestrian piers that jut out along its path. Besides walking, nomads can head to the river for some relaxing sunset sailing or those with more of an adrenaline buzz, you can try jet skiing.
But don’t mistake Jersey as only an access point to New York, over time it’s earned its name as a diverse cultural hub. From multiple bars, and ethnic eateries featuring foods from India, Korea, Cuba, and the Philippines. It’s any travel foodies ideal location. Full bellies all around. More than just the food though, Jersey offers remote workers the chance to learn something from its Museum of Russian Art, and the Afro-American Historical and Cultural Society Museum.
One of the major highlights of visiting Jersey City is the 1,212-acre oasis that is known as the Liberty State Park. When you’ve had enough of all the tall buildings, you can visit this open space to enjoy wonderful views, such as the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Whilst there, why not pop into the Science Centre to explore the interactive experiences. Travel is easy, just hop on the PATH train or Light Rail, you may want to avoid walking from your coliving venue though, as the city does cover eight extensive areas. Enjoy the cultural mix of life you will most undoubtedly see.
