samesame è nato dall'esigenza di costruire un luogo basato sulla creatività e sulla comunità, in grado di offrire un modo diverso di vivere. Oltre a creare un luogo in cui le persone potessero riposare, creare e appartenere/linguare, volevamo che i nostri valori personali si riflettessero nell'intero progetto - sostenibilità, comunità, rispetto, diversità, condivisione, economia locale e circolare, arte e cultura - nella speranza di diventare una soluzione praticabile ad alcune delle maggiori sfide che dobbiamo affrontare oggi.
