About Samesame Coliving
samesame was brought into being by our urge to build a place based on creativity and community and that could provide a different way of living. In addition to establishing a place where people could rest, create and belong/linger, we wanted to have our personal values reflected in the entire project – sustainability, community, respect, diversity, sharing, local and circular economy, art and culture – in the hopes of becoming a viable solution to some of the biggest challenges we face today.

Spent a month at a coliving and had the best time! The accommodation is super nice and very centrally located. Most importantly, the sense of community is great. There's always something going on, but you can also do your own thing if your social battery runs low. I met some wonderful people that will hopefully be friends for life!
The team makes you feel like you're part of their family from the moment you check in. The colivers are friendly and interesting. The rooms are comfortable, and I love the eclectic vintage decor. The location is very convenient; there's plenty of public transportation nearby.
100% recommended! I was here for almost a month and had an amazing stay. The community vibe is the highlight, from Sunday brunches to Tuesday dinners and movie nights with wine.
The coworking space is spacious and super comfortable. I stayed in both a studio and a room — everything was clean, quiet, and cozy. I loved the balance of staying in the quieter Madalena building and heading over to Beco every night to socialize.
Best of all, they were incredibly welcoming to my dog! The staff is wonderful and helps you with everything. A true home away from home in Lisbon! 🇵🇹✨
Great coliving, totally lovingly furnished and every day activities, if you want! :) I felt very comfortable and will definitely come back! Thanks for the wonderful time
This is a great coliving! Everything is super clean and it is really community focused. The co-working space is great, the rooms are comfortable, and the people and volunteers were all amazing. At Sunday brunch, you sit together and plan the week out and what activities everyone wants to do. Definitely recommended!
I believe the living room area could be made into a yoga space/gym area as everyone always uses Beco to hang out in. Something to consider! :)
This coliving is one of my favorite colivings. They have a great community, they organized a lot of activities, and everything felt very warm; it was like a small family. They also have a really nice coloring space equipped with meeting rooms and coffee.
I would 100% recommend it.
It is not just a coliving, it is a place where it is very easy to connect with other people and build a small family. I wanted to try the coliving experience, and I couldn't be happier. The facilities are beautiful and very well equipped, both the coworking and the rooms and common areas. 100% recommended.
I stayed at this coliving for more than 5 weeks and I had a truly wonderful time! The location is very central, so all the sights in Lisbon are within easy walking distance.
I had a private double room with a bathroom in the Madalena building, which was quite quiet. I also had access to the community room in the Beco building. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. Once a week, the room was cleaned after a quick check-in with me.
A special highlight was the community – I met so many great people and really felt at home! They organize regular activities, and you can also suggest your own ideas. It was lovely that you could always reach out to the management or the volunteers with any questions, and they regularly checked in to see if everything was going well.
Additionally, there is a coworking space that you can use, including a meeting room for appointments and a phone booth for calls.
One small downside is that there’s no washing machine, but that was mentioned on the website before. There’s a laundry shop just a few minutes' walk away.
All in all, it was a fantastic stay and I’d love to come back!
I stayed at a coliving for four weeks, and it was my first true coliving experience.
I arrived without clear expectations and left with a new family, countless stories, and a positive change from the experience. Is it perfect? No, but neither is any family. What matters is that the staff listens to feedback and works to improve and fix issues.
Special mention to the volunteers: they created an incredible vibe and helped build the community day after day. If you’re looking for more than just a place to stay, this coliving can truly leave a mark on you.
Practical notes: The location is right in the city center, super convenient, and everything is close. The trade-off is that central Lisbon can be crowded and more expensive than other areas. I stayed at Beco: beautiful common spaces, and rooms are simple/essential but still have everything you need to feel comfortable and at home. There’s no in-house laundry, but there’s a shared laundromat very close by.
I will definitely return :)
