What payment methods are used for

Payment methods are different from payout methods. Payment methods are used when your host account needs to pay Coliving.com. Payout methods are used when Coliving.com sends eligible host funds to you.

Check both areas if you manage bookings, adjustments, or account balances.

Add a payment method

Open your wallet, choose Payment methods, and follow the secure setup flow. Make sure the card or bank details are current, usable for online payments, and authorized by the account owner.

After adding the method, confirm it appears in the wallet before leaving the page.

Keep payment details current

Expired cards, blocked cards, insufficient funds, or bank authentication requirements can cause payment failures.

Review saved payment methods when a card expires, your billing contact changes, your business entity changes, or you receive a payment failure notice.

Removing or replacing a payment method

Before removing a payment method, add and verify the replacement method. This is especially important if there are active bookings, pending charges, or open account balances.
