Ciudad Jardín is a residential neighborhood located in the heart of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It has an exclusively residential character, with a tranquil nature to its streets. The area was developed by British residents who dominated the economic life of the region in the late 19th century. As a result, the neighborhood is home to many embassies and elegant residences, all situated amidst small gardens of various architectural styles.
In this true oasis within the vibrant city of Las Palmas, visitors can admire the greenery and subtropical lushness of Doramas Park. The large Hotel Santa Catalina is another prominent feature of the area. Many celebrities and royalty have stayed at this impressive hotel, and visitors can also enjoy beautiful park views from its rooftop bar while enjoying a drink.
