Local landmarks include the Iberian Citadel, Cassa Barral, and Santa Creu Castle. The beaches are spectacular and the water is generally quite calm and easy for swimming. Day or weekend trips are easy with Barcelona 40 miles north and Valencia 180 miles to the south.

The climate here is perfect. With the sea, temperatures don't fluctuate much during the day. Daytime highs range from the low 60s in the winter to the high 80s in the summer.
