One-half of the famous twin cities, the other being St. Paul, Minneapolis is an art haven and lake paradise. Nomads looking to immerse themselves in the Art world should try a coliving experience in this beautiful city.
When talking about Minneapolis you can’t help but mention the Art Scene. It’s the beating heart of the city and being home to two of the 10 largest art museums in the US, you can understand why. Not only does it offer its Minneapolis Institute of Art for Free, but there are also various fine art museums located in a beautiful eight-acre area to satisfy you. A top tip is to visit the "Spoonbridge and Cherry" sculpture. After the art has taken your attention, the next port of call is to see a Show. Did you know there are 240 theaters in the Twin Cities alone and 440 across the whole state? So really there’s no excuse not to see a show!
In the summer months, digital nomads can wander around one of the 15 lakes that exist within the city limits. A top choice is Lake Calhoun. As the largest lake, its perfect for swimming, running and you can even bike around the edge. However, travel to Minneapolis for any remote workers does have its downsides. Winter is harsh here, so much so you’ll probably end up using the 9.5 miles of enclosed, elevated walkways if you do visit in the wintertime.
On the bright side, Minneapolis has an inexpensive transport train system, which will get you around and from city to city easily. Make sure to do your research first though, so you don’t get lost during your time. Last of all, during your coliving here in this city, take note that its people are strong supporters of the concept of “Minnesota Nice.” Don’t be surprised if they wish you a good day at every turn, and make sure to wish them one back.
