Just across the water from San Francisco, Oakland is the charming, more affordable city in the Bay Area. This is why many digital nomads forgo the pricey rents of San Francisco for a sweet coliving space in Oakland.
If you take a boat over from San Francisco, you’ll arrive in Jack London Square. This is often the first stop for new visitors for a boardwalk stroll, the morning farmer’s market, or a visit to the only public presidential yacht, the USS Potomac.
