Sitting on a plateau off the coast, Curitiba is Brazil’s biggest southern city. Digital Nomads enjoy coliving spaces here because of the comfort, beauty, and low level of crime by Brazilian standards.

Barreado is a regional clay pot stew made with meat, bacon, and spices. The stew simmers over a low flame from 12-48 hours to release all the flavors and maximize tenderness. A favorite local sweet called “chineque” is a sweet bread filled with either cream, chocolate, or guava.
