After being back to everyday life for two weeks, I truly appreciate the time I spent here. In August, I had the opportunity to stay for a month, and I can absolutely recommend it!

This coliving space offers everything needed to work effectively during the day and have a great time in the evenings. Besides dedicated workspaces in each room, there are additional beautiful spots to work in the house, on the balcony, or in the well-designed garden, all with a strong internet connection.

The highlights, however, are the evening activities. Figo is an excellent host and always has great tips for evening plans. Whether it's a local festival in a nearby town, a hike through the beautiful nature and mountains, a relaxing evening at the beach, or a few drinks at one of the local bars with many new friends from the house, it makes for an even more enjoyable experience!

I had a great time here. The place looks exactly like it does in the pictures, which was a big relief. I was a bit worried about privacy, especially for important client meetings, but that wasn’t an issue at all. Everything went smoothly, and the atmosphere was just right.

Figo, the host, is awesome. He goes above and beyond for his guests, making sure you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. It was impressive to see how many people were return visitors – that really says a lot about the place!

I’m already planning my next stay because a month just wasn’t enough. If you’re looking for a laid-back but productive work environment, this is the spot! 😊

My month-long workation was an amazing experience! The villa was beautiful with a stunning garden—perfect for relaxing and working. Good Wi-Fi everywhere and plenty of quiet spots for working.

I met some wonderful new people, and living together was incredibly fun. My highlights included the breathtaking hikes (thanks, Figo!) after work or on weekends, the pizza and poncha evenings, relaxed afternoons at the beach, and of course, Lotus, our adorable dog.

The best! If you are a digital nomad, this place, in my opinion, ranks as the #1 destination I have been. I had so much fun. It is super welcoming, and you will have memories to last a lifetime. Thanks so much to Figo, Kiki, and all the fellow travelers I had the pleasure of meeting. I’ll be back!

I stayed here for a month to work, relax, and hike. It's a beautiful, clean, and well-equipped villa. The internet is much better than in Germany, and there's even a second monitor available if you need it. There's a great atmosphere with relaxed people from various backgrounds, perfect for exchanging ideas.

I had a brilliant experience here with an amazing host! I would definitely recommend it and plan to return one day!

Overview: We booked a month-long stay with my partner, and it was our first workation. The experience was simply fantastic and exceeded our expectations.

Location: The accommodation is very remote and secluded, which we found to be a huge plus. The house is enormous, with multiple rooms and three shared bathrooms. The communal kitchen, dining area, and living room are spacious and well-equipped. The garden is particularly impressive, featuring a pizza stone oven, various seating areas (also suitable for working), a ping-pong table, and much more. The property has a charming, rustic flair, and while it shows some signs of age, this only adds to its unique character. Additionally, there are two cars available for the community to share, making it easy to drive to Funchal, Pico do Arieiro, and other points of interest despite the remote location.

Community Spirit: The sense of community is a central aspect here. Although we were initially skeptical because we enjoy our privacy, we were thrilled from day one. We met so many wonderful people from different countries like Japan, the USA, and Ireland. This cultural diversity was very enriching. Living together, going on after-work excursions, cooking, and cleaning together always worked out very well.

Host Figo: Figo, the host, has been living on Madeira for a long time and can provide many valuable tips that you won’t find on the internet or in travel guides. This added value is priceless, and you can tell that he is passionate about helping guests collect unique experiences on the island. For this reason alone, we would definitely return.

Conclusion: For us, it was the best first workation experience, motivating us to plan such stays regularly. We highly recommend this coliving space and the host, Figo, and we hope many more guests can enjoy this wonderful experience.

After a month coliving here, I can simply say: I definitely want to do this again! It was my first time working from abroad and my first experience with coliving. I felt comfortable from the very beginning. Each day was unique and wonderful. A big part of this was due to the amazing people around me and the well-thought-out concept. I look forward to my next visit for more awesome hikes, pizza nights, relaxing evenings at the beach, and all the other great experiences I've had over the past month! ❤️
