My experience here has been truly transformative. This isn't just a typical coliving space; it's an immersive experience in a village that welcomes you as if you've lived there your entire life. The people in the community bring out the best in you with their joy and willingness to share their skills. During my stay, I learned how to make wicker baskets, donuts, and handmade soap.

Juan, who leads here, is incredibly generous, mindful, and attentive, making everything flow smoothly with a smile always on his face. I've made wonderful friends from this experience and am convinced that success doesn't only reside in big cities. Come join us in the village!

There’s a reason why this place consistently earns five-star ratings, and it’s not because Juan pays us... it’s simply amazing. In what seems to be the middle of nowhere, you’ll find a village brimming with warm, loving people eager to share the wonders of Benarrabá. Although I mostly relaxed, my fellow travelers mentioned that the coworking space works quite well. I confirmed that the facilities were excellent when I visited for a few coffees. The place where we stayed had everything we needed for a pleasant stay, including a fireplace for the chilly nights. I recommend visiting Crestellina, where they make goat cheese, joining the activities with the village grandmothers (who do something different every day), taking hikes on the trails, and don’t forget to bring your paddle rackets for a fun game. You can also bring your dog!

Words can’t fully capture the magic of this place, but ultimately, it allows you to disconnect from everything and reconnect with what’s important: love and community.

I honestly can't say enough good things about this place! They've created an amazing workspace in a beautiful village setting, with everything you need to stay productive while making friends.

I was fortunate to spend a month immersed in this community. Benarrabá and its people have a truly magical charm, and every member of the team made us feel completely at home from day one. I loved their philosophy, the close-knit community they’ve nurtured, and all the thoughtful activities they arranged for me and the other colivers. It was the ideal experience for disconnecting and reconnecting, allowing me to be fully present and to savor each moment in the village. The connections I made during this time are hard to put into words—all I can say is that this definitely won’t be my last visit! I’m forever grateful!

I was able to work when I needed, but I felt an immense sense of peace from the town and the community, who were always open to share. I stayed for a month and would greatly recommend at least two. I had an amazing experience at this coliving space designed with both locals and nomads in mind. I felt welcomed into the community right away. There were so many things to appreciate: the openness of the group, weekly art activities with local grandmas, and engaging handicrafts workshops with artisans. Plus, the abundance of nature was perfect for finding grounding and solitude. It struck the perfect balance of comfort, community, and co-creation. I really admire the effort and vision put into creating such an enriching experience.

It was truly lovely to get to know Benarraba through this coliving's perspective. The way they interact with the village and curate a real yet cozy experience in community with people from different corners of the world makes it a new experience for most of us. Juan is a great host, always ready to help with any detail, and Carmen, the community host at that moment, is also eager to create beautiful moments within the community. The relationship between the village and this coliving is definitely unique, and you can feel it in the joyful welcome you receive from this picturesque village, surrounded by an astonishing natural environment. If you want to experience authentic rural Andalusian life, enjoy some silence while feeling the warmth of a charming community, this is the experience for you!

As my time here winds down, I'm already feeling nostalgic and the month my family and I spent in this amazing coliving space. My kids know the names of all the town's dogs, cats, and horses, I know my way around every twisty street, and we even discovered where to harvest ripe walnuts and pomegranates. It's been a truly special and transformative place to live and work. None of this would have been possible without Juan and the dedicated team, who have put so much effort into this experience, along with the support from the village leadership. I highly recommend spending time here.

I'm almost hesitant to write about my experience because living in Benarrabá feels so incredibly special and personal to my family, like it's mine and I don't want to share it with anyone! My husband, our two kids (4 and 2), and I came to Benarrabá for a month, and my only regret is that we didn't stay longer. Benarrabá is truly a gem: it's a beautifully preserved, historic mountain town with a wonderfully relaxed pace of life and charmingly narrow, winding streets, surrounded by incredible natural beauty and a well-maintained trail system, perfect for trail running or mountain biking. Juan and the community made us feel right at home from day one.

As an American parent, I've always been skeptical of the saying, it takes a village to raise a child, because I've never felt much support from my community in raising my kids. But in Benarrabá, I feel like this is the village that saying is about! Everywhere we go, people know our kids, are happy to see them, and watch out for them. They play soccer in the street, pick and eat pomegranates and walnuts from our backyard, and greet all our neighbors, from the town mayor to the horse that lives next door.

I feel so privileged to have been able to live in and work from this community these past few weeks. I can't wait to come back.
