I absolutely loved my time here in this village. The host and the team have created something that is very special and rare to find - a co-living/working space where the village you are living in is an integral part of the experience.

The pueblo sits surrounded by lush hills and nature. As you walk around the village, you are met with incredible views that never stopped blowing me away for the time I was here. There are several hiking trails too, where you can go even deeper into nature.

The team create a real community feel for digital nomads with a variety of different activities. I particularly enjoyed the family dinners and the deep and interesting conversations we had over many sobremesas.

The locals of this village are so incredibly friendly and welcoming too. Despite my limited Spanish, I enjoyed connecting with the abuelas during the morning gym classes and saying hello to residents in the streets, which is a far cry from how I used to rush around with my head down in my previous city.

The co-working space was a really beautiful space to work from, with very fast Wi-Fi. It was the first co-working space that made me feel part of a team again since I left my corporate job, and I enjoyed chatting with other digital nomads during the working day.

I don’t really count myself as a fully-fledged digital nomad, more just a nomad trying to figure life out, so I'd say the pueblo would also be a perfect trip for anyone looking for a way to learn and speak Spanish, as not many locals speak English here, or if you were simply feeling burnt out and wanted to slow down and reconnect to the things that truly matter. I can't recommend the host or this village highly enough.

The absolute best experience! 🌟 The host is pure magic. The village is stunning, but it’s the people that make it so special; it feels like a big, warm family. The locals are incredibly sweet; they always want to help and make you feel like you're truly one of them. We shared amazing dinners, celebrated at every opportunity, and the workspace was super comfortable with perfect internet. Wonderful team. We left with a full heart! ❤️

This might not be the most impartial review, but it is an honest one. I have been part of the host's team since 2024, and honesty is very much how we do things here.

I have been involved in different coliving projects since 2015, and I deeply believe in spaces that help people connect in a meaningful way. From experience, I know that the care and love you put into people are directly reflected in the kind of community that forms.

At this host, the sense of belonging is huge. And what makes it truly unique is that this belonging does not remain only among the colivers. It extends into the village. I have not seen many projects able to break the nomad bubble in such a natural way and become genuinely connected to the local environment.

The host is a special place. It is for people who want to feel part of something, who arrive with openness and generosity, and who are ready to receive that same care back.

This host was more than a coliving. It's a one-of-a-kind experience in a beautiful place in the mountains with a real opportunity to connect with villagers and other colivers. The team's passion and care for the community really shows, creating a safe space to grow and explore, and hopefully regenerate rural life. The team are amazing at guiding the experience, creating opportunities to connect with villagers and help colivers self-organise and get the most out of the experience.

About the village and the place: you'll get more out of the experience with some Spanish, as few locals speak much English. Restaurants are surprisingly good as long as you're OK eating pork (which is very good quality). Most bars have gluten-free beer. There are two local shops with mostly local and seasonal produce, which are limited, so if you need anything specialist, it's worth bringing with you, but bear in mind most large supermarkets are closed on Sundays.

Truly loved this place! The host built something special, and even five months later, I still think back with a smile on my face and a warm heart. So what makes this special? We stayed in the Zahara house, which is a very cozy place with a good kitchen and a lovely rooftop terrace with amazing views (imagine waking up with that view doing your morning yoga). Don't expect 5-star quality, but expect village charm. The village is situated in beautiful green hills all around, with amazing (afternoon sunset) hikes. The village itself has just enough to offer: a bar for Friday afternoon, a place to practice Spanish, a supermarket/butchery/fishvan for groceries, and lots of cats roaming around. The people coming to the coliving are divers, but like-minded in love for connection, slow living, and good conversations. We have been to more colivings, but this one stands out!

As someone who spends a lot of time thinking about performance and decision-making, I didn’t expect a small village to have such a strong impact on my clarity and productivity.

What makes this coliving unique is the combination of 3 things that are hard to find together:

→ Deep focus (you actually get meaningful work done)
→ Real human connection (not forced networking, but genuine relationships)
→ A slower, more intentional pace of life

In Benarrabá, you’re not just staying in a place, you become part of the village. That changes everything. It resets your attention and creates space to think better and to build genuine relationships with the remote workers and with the locals.

The coworking setup is solid, the environment is inspiring, but honestly, that’s not even the main point.

The real value is what happens in between work sessions: conversations, walks, shared meals, and the subtle shift in how you relate to your work and yourself.

This coliving represents something bigger than just a space. It’s part of a movement towards more meaningful work and a more balanced way of living.

If you’re looking for more than just a place with WiFi, if you want perspective, clarity, and focus, you won’t regret visiting and staying here.

Fantastic community!
I had a great experience at a coliving in Benarrabá. The combination of coliving and coworking works really well, with a clear focus on both quality of life and connection.

The surroundings are truly beautiful and peaceful, creating a unique atmosphere that makes it easy to slow down and enjoy daily life. Being surrounded by nature adds something special that you don’t often find in typical coliving spaces.

What really stands out is the strong sense of community. It’s easy to connect with like-minded people, and there’s a natural balance between social time and personal space. The whole experience feels authentic, welcoming, and genuinely inspiring.

Overall, a place I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to combine work, nature, and a meaningful community.

What a great gift it was to go to , what a great gift it was to meet the people of Benarraba, and what a great gift it was to share a home with such beautiful people. I went looking for connection and peace, and I found both, which is not something very common in this world. Thank you, Benarraba; let's return to the towns!!

I came to the coliving while filming a documentary about the community, and it was my first real experience living in a place like this. To be honest, community living had never particularly appealed to me before. Communities can sometimes feel complex, hierarchical, or even restrictive.

But the coliving felt different.

Over time, something shifted. By the time I left, I genuinely felt part of the community—and I didn’t really want to leave. I had made many friends, started getting to know the locals, and began to appreciate their way of simply being and making the most of every moment.

What struck me most was the openness of the people there. As a local says, they don’t really care what you do—whether you’re an artist, a programmer, or anything else. They simply accept that you are you. That’s the starting point, and the rest is up to you.

It’s a rare and refreshing atmosphere, and one that stayed with me long after I left.

is a best practice example when it comes to community, coliving, and especially the local impact. When you are there, you truly become part of the local rhythm. has managed to build a bridge to a local pueblo that welcomes colivers with open arms.I loved getting to know the local festivities, visiting Paco and his goats, talking to the mayor about his vision, and playing padel with the grandmothers.I will be back for sure. Gracias :)
