L'Eixample
Eixample, which translates to "extension" in recognition of its status as the newer section of the city, is a vast area that extends to the left and right of Passeig de Gràcia, north of Plaça de Catalunya.
The region is, in fact, an extension of the city that significantly benefits from the ingenious urban planning that Catalan engineer Cerdes implemented in the 1850s. The area is organized in a grid, with each unit featuring an inner courtyard, as Cerdes had a preference for straight lines. This implies that it is difficult to become disoriented in Eixample and, in addition, that one can easily locate specific locations.
Currently, Eixample is renowned for its high-end residential and retail areas, as well as the fact that it is the location of the majority of Barcelona's art nouveau masterpieces.
The architecture of the right side of the Eixample is more remarkable due to its age; however, there is not a significant distinction between the two sides.
The center of Eixample is Passeig de Gràcia, which also serves as the boundary between the two distinct areas: "Eixample left" and "Eixample right."
Eixample is a residential and secure area of the city; however, it also boasts a flourishing café culture and a lively nightlife. Eixample is a charming neighborhood in which visitors can stroll, admire the stunning architecture, and observe the locals from one of the numerous terrace cafés.

Boekingsregels
- Minimum verblijf: 1 maand.
- De prijs van je kamer is inclusief elektriciteit, gas, water, internet, verzekering en een wekelijkse schoonmaak van de gemeenschappelijke ruimtes.
- De borg komt overeen met een maandelijkse betaling, die 15 kalenderdagen na afloop van je contract wordt terugbetaald, op voorwaarde dat er geen schade is aan zowel de kamer als het appartement.
- Je kunt de duur van je contract verkorten met een opzegtermijn van minimaal 2 maanden, tegen betaling van een boete van €100.
- Als de vermindering minder dan 2 maanden van tevoren wordt gedaan, komt de boete overeen met een maand borg.
- Als je je contract wilt verlengen, kan dat gemakkelijk, of je kunt zelfs van kamer veranderen wanneer er beschikbaarheid is.
