We are a creative co-living and co-working retreat just an hour from Helsinki, set in a historic sanatorium surrounded by forest. With private rooms and fast Wi-Fi, we offer a dedicated wing for digital nomads to live and work with ease. The rest of the space includes a makerspace, gym, climbing wall, sauna, and a vibrant artist and volunteer community. Enjoy 24/7 co-working, a shared car, and endless ways to connect, create, and recharge.

Set in a beautifully restored historic sanatorium across a sprawling 15,000 m² campus, digital nomads will find their ideal workspace and a dedicated co-working area in their wing. The space provides 24/7 access to a fully equipped work environment with fast Wi-Fi (200 Mbps). Beyond the primary co-working space, nomads can tap into additional coworking nooks throughout the building, which are shared with the wider community. The space offers multiple work zones, including in-room desks, a breakout meeting room, and private offices available at an additional cost. The on-site makerspace provides further creative opportunities with tools for traditional crafts, 3D printing, and electronics—perfect for professionals seeking inspiration and innovation.

Our property features a dedicated living wing for digital nomads, with private rooms on the second floor, fresh linens, and essential amenities. Guests share clean, gender-separated bathrooms, each with two showers. The fully equipped shared kitchen supports vegetarian cooking and reflects the property’s sustainability values. Comfortable lounges with sofas and TVs foster community, while digital nomads can also enjoy communal spaces throughout the building to connect with artists, volunteers, and our team.

Wellness and recreation are central to life here. Explore protected forests, swim in a nearby lake, climb indoors, hit the gym, or unwind in our weekly wood-fired sauna. A shared car is available for nearby adventures, and our on-site healing salon offers services like osteopathy, acupuncture, and massages.

Sustainability is woven into daily life. We recycle, compost, and upcycle to reduce waste, and we’re working toward powering the property with solar and geothermal energy—so you can work, create, and recharge while treading lightly on the land.

We are more than just a place to stay; it’s a living ecosystem and a vibrant village where creativity and connection thrive. Every month, we host artists from around the world through our residency program, bringing new energy and opportunities for collaboration. A lively volunteer crew keeps the space running and the community connected. Shared spaces like the coworking hub, makerspace, outdoor sports fields, communal kitchens, and our on-site café (open for special occasions) naturally bring together digital nomads, artists, and volunteers for unforgettable shared experiences.

We are surrounded by nature, which is perfect for walks through the woods, swimming in the nearby lake, and, during winter, ice skating and cross-country skiing. Depending on the season, you can forage for berries in summer and mushrooms from summer to mid-autumn.

The nearest town is Karjaa (Karis), just 10 minutes away, where you can find shops, cafés, restaurants, banks, and more. In Finland, flea markets are important and very common; our favorites are Kaippari Loppis Kirppis, Sineaaria, and Karjaan Antikvariaatti. Pumpviksholmen is a lovely little park to visit if the weather is nice. Green Mama’s is a fantastic fully vegan restaurant for lunch or a coffee break, and they even organize events in the evenings sometimes.
