I don’t think I ever had that many conversations with kind strangers within such a short time. Words cannot fully capture the magic of Rooral. From the moment you arrive, you feel an instant sense of belonging. I've spent over a year visiting various colivings, and I can confidently say that this one is truly unique and special. While the coliving world often stays within a bubble, primarily accessible to the colivers themselves, Rooral breaks that mold.

Rooral has created a beautiful bridge between the colivers and the local village community. It offers a refreshing perspective on what Community really means fostering meaningful exchanges between locals and colivers. Here, you feel like you're making a positive impact while gaining so much in return. It's a reminder of the importance of slowing down, connecting with others, and enjoying the simple joys of life—like spending time with the abuelas. Time flows differently here, in the best possible way.

The peaceful silence of the surrounding nature makes for restful sleep, and the local food is absolutely fulfilling. The Characters of the village—from the local leaders to the bar owners, and the lively community members (who run fantastic gym and art classes)—add a warmth that deepens your sense of connection. The local activities—art classes, hikes, cheese-making, visits to the cork factory, night terrace dancing, skillshares—offer endless opportunities for discovery, all while forming beautiful new friendships with your fellow colivers.

A lot of this magic wouldn't be possible without someone like the supportive community leader, whose Love for the village, its people, and its surroundings inspires everyone around. The passion motivates you to embrace this way of life, which cultivates a rich, meaningful experience that reconnects you with the essence of your own purpose.

This coliving space is truly one of a kind! Nestled in the Genal Valley, Benarrabá is the perfect place to reconnect with nature, meet new friends among locals and fellow residents, and work, thanks to a state-of-the-art coworking facility with incredibly fast WiFi.

There’s also a beautiful gym with panoramic windows that overlook the valley, a pádel court where you can play with local residents, inviting local bars, and a little supermarket with everything you need. For hiking enthusiasts, there are plenty of local trails to explore.

What truly sets this place apart is the warm and dynamic atmosphere created by Juan, the founder, and Alejandra, the community manager. Every day of my month-long stay was thoroughly enjoyable. I know I’ll be back and highly recommend this experience to everyone!

I had the pleasure of being part of the community here in November 2024, and even though I stayed for just a month, my time at the beautiful village was truly enjoyable. I was there as part of a residency program, where I worked on creating social media videos promoting the village and highlighting important local figures. During this residency, I got to spend time with some very inspiring people and engage in interesting conversations with fellow residents.

I'm so happy I had the chance to talk with everyone and truly embrace the slow life and tranquility the village offered. Juan is truly a visionary, and it was incredibly heartwarming to see how he bonded with all the locals, taking time to ask about their day or their problems. Alejandra was the perfect community manager, ensuring everyone felt welcomed and had a place to thrive in both the coliving and coworking aspects.

I feel extremely blessed to have had the opportunity to be part of this community, make new friends, and appreciate the beauty of people and nature alike. The Perfect Escape: My Experience Here

Staying here provided me with a truly unique getaway that was more than just a vacation—it was an adventure far from the noise of the city. This was my first time staying in such a setting, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. It was exactly what I needed to disconnect from the daily grind and reconnect with nature.

The cabin was perfect. The interior design, inspired by minimalism and local culture, created a cozy and harmonious atmosphere. The surrounding nature—vast fields, mountains, and breathtaking starry skies—was absolutely stunning. Each sunset felt like a painting, and evenings by the fire added a special touch to the experience.

One of the standout features here is its rural working concept. Combining productivity with serenity and zero stress was an invaluable experience. The fast Wi-Fi and comfortable workspace made it an ideal spot for remote work, while morning walks and a cup of coffee on the terrace set the perfect tone for the day.

I've been to Benarrabá multiple times, so I decided to take my coworking community from our usual spot to the village for a month-long getaway in the countryside. Juan, Alexandra, and Carmen, who hosted us, did everything to make us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Their personalized approach and genuine care for each individual left no desire unfulfilled. But it's not just the hosts who make the experience unforgettable; the kindness and welcoming curiosity of the local villagers enhance the experience even more.

In the picturesque setting of Benarrabá, with a group of 15 of us, we found ways to truly connect with ourselves, each other, and nature in ways we don't usually take the time to do in our busy lives.
