This coliving space is truly one of a kind! Nestled in the Genal Valley, Benarrabá is the perfect place to reconnect with nature, meet new friends among locals and fellow residents, and work, thanks to a state-of-the-art coworking facility with incredibly fast WiFi.

There’s also a beautiful gym with panoramic windows that overlook the valley, a pádel court where you can play with local residents, inviting local bars, and a little supermarket with everything you need. For hiking enthusiasts, there are plenty of local trails to explore.

What truly sets this place apart is the warm and dynamic atmosphere created by Juan, the founder, and Alejandra, the community manager. Every day of my month-long stay was thoroughly enjoyable. I know I’ll be back and highly recommend this experience to everyone!

I had the pleasure of being part of the community here in November 2024, and even though I stayed for just a month, my time at the beautiful village was truly enjoyable. I was there as part of a residency program, where I worked on creating social media videos promoting the village and highlighting important local figures. During this residency, I got to spend time with some very inspiring people and engage in interesting conversations with fellow residents.

I'm so happy I had the chance to talk with everyone and truly embrace the slow life and tranquility the village offered. Juan is truly a visionary, and it was incredibly heartwarming to see how he bonded with all the locals, taking time to ask about their day or their problems. Alejandra was the perfect community manager, ensuring everyone felt welcomed and had a place to thrive in both the coliving and coworking aspects.

I feel extremely blessed to have had the opportunity to be part of this community, make new friends, and appreciate the beauty of people and nature alike. The Perfect Escape: My Experience Here

Staying here provided me with a truly unique getaway that was more than just a vacation—it was an adventure far from the noise of the city. This was my first time staying in such a setting, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. It was exactly what I needed to disconnect from the daily grind and reconnect with nature.

The cabin was perfect. The interior design, inspired by minimalism and local culture, created a cozy and harmonious atmosphere. The surrounding nature—vast fields, mountains, and breathtaking starry skies—was absolutely stunning. I've been to Benarrabá multiple times, so I decided to take my coworking community from our usual spot to the village for a month-long getaway in the countryside. Juan, Alexandra, and Carmen, who hosted us, did everything to make us feel at home from the moment we arrived. There’s a reason why this place consistently earns five-star ratings, and it’s not because Juan pays us... it’s simply amazing. In what seems to be the middle of nowhere, you’ll find a village brimming with warm, loving people eager to share the wonders of Benarrabá. Although I mostly relaxed, my fellow travelers mentioned that the coworking space works quite well. I confirmed that the facilities were excellent when I visited for a few coffees. The place where we stayed had everything we needed for a pleasant stay, including a fireplace for the chilly nights. I recommend visiting Crestellina, where they make goat cheese, joining the activities with the village grandmothers (who do something different every day), taking hikes on the trails, and don’t forget to bring your paddle rackets for a fun game. You can also bring your dog!

Words can’t fully capture the magic of this place, but ultimately, it allows you to disconnect from everything and reconnect with what’s important: love and community.
