I spent a month at this coliving, and it was truly an incredible experience. The hosts are amazing — welcoming, genuine, and always creating a space that feels like home.
The coworking area had everything I needed to stay productive, and the community they’ve built is just beautiful. I met incredible people who quickly became friends, and the memories and connections from this place will definitely stay with me.
Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place that combines work, comfort, and real community.
I had a wonderful time at the Coliving & Coworking! I stayed there while working remotely, and it was such a great experience. The place itself is beautiful, but what really makes it special is the amazing atmosphere created by the staff. I also met so many inspiring and kind people during my stay, which made it feel like a real community. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to live, work, and connect in the Azores!
The hosts were brilliant and went above and beyond to make my experience on the island as good as possible. If you get the chance to stay here, you're in for an absolute treat. What they've created is really special, and you're lucky if you get to experience this island haven. It has an amazing co-working space overlooking the sea and is surrounded by coastal trails and near to a great swim spot. Being in the middle, it's well located to explore the rest of the island. I'd highly recommend it and have already done so to a few friends.
We had a wonderful stay in the Azores! The couple who runs this place is extremely kind and welcoming.
Tea, coffee, fruits, and cereals are always available, which is very convenient.
The beds are comfortable (we stayed in the Moo room), and the workspace is excellent — the desk looks directly out onto the ocean, which is truly breathtaking.
They also organize evening events such as BBQ nights, and they provide excellent advice on what to do and see around the island.
It’s a very reliable place to stay, whether for relaxation or remote work.
One small note: the town hosts a local festival every year in August or September (you can ask the owners for the dates). During this time, you can enjoy the “soup night,” where locals prepare a variety of soups you can try for just €8 — a wonderful cultural experience! However, as with most Portuguese village festivals, it can get quite noisy in the evenings, so just keep this in mind when planning your stay.
Overall, an amazing 5/5 experience — highly recommended!
Wonderful place ♥️
From the very first moment, my friend and I felt at home! The owners are two wonderful young people putting in all the effort they can.
Everybody reading, you should go!
One of the loveliest coliving spaces where I’ve stayed! The space is really lovely and well organized. My partner and I were working for the whole week we stayed there, and we really enjoyed the coworking space. It is really great to meet people too!
I stayed at a coliving for ten days in August to work remotely on EST hours while exploring Sao Miguel during the day. I had a private room with a shared bath on the main floor. For me, the communal atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for - folks working together in the lovely office space (with privacy booths for calls), folks cooking and eating together in the incredibly well-stocked kitchen (air fryer, manual juicer, grater, spices, espresso machine), and lovely humans hanging around. Quiet hours were well respected, and the place was kept incredibly clean by on-site volunteers there most of the day. The owners are lovely and were often around to work, chat, cook, and give island advice. There is a schedule of community activities over the week, with the highlight being the group BBQ on the weekend (if you're lucky with one of the owners leading a singalong on his guitar). Of course, like all shared spaces, you should expect to share space, to pick up after yourself, and to hear other folks in the space (the soundproofing on the rooms is so-so). The private meeting booths are helpful but definitely not fully soundproof if you have any sensitive work matters requiring higher privacy. I will note the rooms do not have A/C (there is one in the office space). Typically, the ocean breeze keeps things comfortable, but we were there in an unusual heat wave peak summer and found a couple of nights hot for sleeping (we bought a fan and solved it). Most of the rooms also have windows to the street, so bringing earplugs is a good idea (it is a small town with infrequent traffic, so not a huge deal). The setting itself is gorgeous - on a cliff overlooking the ocean. You need to travel a while to get to swim access (maybe 5-7 min by car or 30 min on foot). The village it is in is pretty sparse for amenities; most shopping and restaurants require a drive. Public transit is possible in theory but incredibly inefficient and mostly routes you through Ponta Delgada - a car rental or scooter rental is highly recommended. However, if you're flexible with your schedule, lots of folks would likely be willing to let you tag along on their adventures. Overall, everything is totally worth it for the warm community, instant friends, and delicious leftovers from fellow travelers cooking. A wonderful stay, and I already want to plan a return visit!
By far our most beautiful and best coliving on the Azores. Wonderful.
We had such a great time at the coliving, we would really recommend booking here if you would like to get to know people from all around the world and spend some time with them. Also, a really good starting place to travel to any corner of the island. We will definitely come back again!
We were there for 4 days and regretted that we hadn't reserved for longer. The room is great, the atmosphere is amazing, and the hospitality is excellent. There is a work area and a balcony with a crazy view that looks directly at the sea, where you can see sunsets in amazing colors while having a beer or a glass of wine.
