I’ve lived here for the past year and it’s been lovely. Large park, loads of deer and hares, and usually nice and quiet. The pool is a slice of heaven during the summer.

I came to the Château for a month of writing and creativity, and found pure magic. The castle is beautiful, cozy, and I felt inspired. Evenings meant cooking with housemates, sharing wine, or dining outdoors under the stars.
The staff (now friends) were so welcoming and made it easy to connect with French culture. We enjoyed wine tastings, castle visits, and a boat ride on the Loire. And Langeais is only a 20-minute walk away. It was the perfect escape from city life and a dream come true.

My stay at La Roche Cotard was an absolute dream! I was lucky to have some really great housemates, but on top of that, the owners of the chateau provided an unforgettable experience! It’s a short train ride to Tours, where there is always something to do, and about a 2 hour train ride to Paris! I used this place as a home base to travel around France for a few months. It was great to come back to a place that felt like home! This chateau was amazing and I’ll definitely be back! :)

I had a once-in-a-lifetime experience at La Roche Cotard. The space is absolutely amazing, from the castle, to the common/co-working areas, to the kitchen, living area, pool, BBQ and there's even a dog! The owners are amazing people who will show you a good time, hang out as little or as much as you want, and make you truly feel at home. I cannot recommend this place enough, and honestly words cannot do it justice.

One of the most beautiful places listed on coliving or Airbnb. Situated a short walk to a lovely small French village with a castle. The hosts and other co-livers share the vibes and make for an unforgettable experience.

I stayed at La Roche Cotard for one month in July 2024 and it was spectacular! I originally found the property on Airbnb but I learned later that you can book directly with them. It’s a co-living house and perfect for digital nomads or any guests looking for an extended stay. I spent my days working remotely and I spent the weekends exploring the Loire Valley, visiting castles, local wineries and medieval towns. There are seven bedrooms in total and the house was full when I stayed here, which was really special as we would spend time together in the evenings, cooking, watching movies or heading to the pool. My room was very comfortable and clean with an ensuite bathroom and desk for working (although there were plenty of spaces downstairs to work as well). Julien, Raph and all of their friends were great hosts, very accommodating and helpful with local tips and suggestions. I would love to stay here again and can’t recommend it highly enough!

I found this coliving space on Airbnb last summer and decided to give it a shot, even though I'd never been to Langeais before. It's even more stunning in person than it is in the photos.

My experience was so fantastic that I extended my stay to a month. If I could have stayed longer, I totally would have!

During my time there, I met colivers from all over the world - China, Australia, the US, Spain, and France. It was pretty cool, and although I've traveled extensively, it definitely broadened my horizons.

The hosts are some of the kindest people I've ever met, and they were always warm and welcoming. I still recall how one host would always make me feel right at home with their warm words. Plus, it was great brushing up on my French and learning more about French culture from them.

Langeais is in a great spot - away from the craziness of city life, but still close enough to easily get to Tours and even Paris. I even managed to squeeze in a weekend trip to London from the airport in Tours, which was super convenient.

The WiFi was solid, and there was plenty of space to unwind whenever I needed some alone time. But there were also lots of fun times shared with the hosts and other guests, like dinners, drinks, Sunday markets, wine tastings, and other activities in Langeais.

I'm already counting down the days until I can return, and I cannot recommend this coliving space highly enough.

This place is a true slice of paradise in France. It's quite the challenge to leave once you've settled in...

The history-rich environment takes you back in time. The charming, wooden-paneled library, for example, is an ideal quiet space for remote work, surrounded by books or fellow residents. The idyllic and tranquil setting is perfect for unwinding, whilst still being conveniently close to town. Ancient trees embrace the building and it's not uncommon to spot a variety of wildlife at the edge of the property or on the fringe of the park.
The tastefully decorated rooms have all the necessary comforts to make everyone feel at ease in their personal space.

The family-like and warm atmosphere easily lends itself to making local or international acquaintances, during shared moments by the fireplace in winter, or on the terrace in summer. There are wood-fired pizza nights with an in-house oven or barbecues, indoor or outdoor movie nights, board games or billiards sessions, yoga classes or swims in the pool, walks in the park or hikes in nearby forests, tours of castles or regional wine cellars...

In short, the welcoming and attentive hosts have turned this coliving into a precious spot where living together comes with a French country air. It's pure joy!

This coliving space was the perfect base to stay in. There was a large sense of community but some folks could easily stay out of it if they prefer. I had a wonderful time during my stay and would highly recommend staying at the castle.
