Kanazawa is a great place to escape from the big tourist destinations. And the place is where to be there. Just a couple of minutes walk you have everything you would need - a historical castle with a very big park area, covered market with lots of food options, shopping mall, and a free (as of this writing) coworking space. You can still work from the coliving, so I just used both options to change the environment a bit.
Generally, the location is super central, close to the historical areas and an amazing Japanese-style garden.
The kitchen is also very well equipped, so for those like me who prefer to cook, this was also a good solution.
And last but not least - the staff is super friendly and always there to help. This makes a big difference for the stay.
