About Islow Coliving
A slow way of co-living and exploring in community.
The heart of life at iSlow is centred around its traditional stone house, built around the year 1915. It belonged to iSlow founder Inés’s great-grandfather, Severino do Perito, who came from the nearby village of Borneiro and married Carmen, from whom, after 30 years of marriage, he inherited the house.

My experience with the host was unforgettable. A place that nourished my soul with wonderful people, my mind with ideas and stimulating projects, and my stomach with real Galician bread. Thanks to the hosts for their generosity, to a staff member for their care, to another staff member for their cheerfulness, and to the place for being such a special spot. I'll definitely return!!
I stayed 15 days in June and the experience was fantastic. The house, rooms, and facilities are beautiful, well cared for, and comfortable. The hosts were excellent, always attentive and very warm. The local area is unbeatable. Without a doubt a place to go to disconnect and reconnect. Highly recommended 200%. I will definitely return. Thanks! :)
A special place. The hosts make you feel right at home; great community, wonderful house, and a great location near many beautiful beaches. I felt right at home and can't wait to be back!
The perfect combination of work, community and quality of life
Being part of FIXAR at the host has been a transformative experience. The facilities are thoughtfully designed for digital nomads and remote workers: good Wi-Fi, quiet spaces to concentrate and very welcoming common areas. But the best part has been the people: the dynamics, the conversations and the atmosphere that develops. For me, it has been therapeutic and transformative. I will never forget my time there. Thanks to the whole team for taking care of every detail!
A beautiful place, with a very pleasant atmosphere and a variety of activities.
Top-notch facilities. Quiet rooms and a comfortable bed. Coworking area with monitors and well equipped for networking sessions. The common areas are comfortable and practical (lots of kitchen utensils and a layout very well thought out so several people can cook at the same time).
The outdoor areas are also very nice. The back terrace is ideal for having a coffee early in the morning and writing accompanied by the sound of the birds. It also has plenty of space for dinners and small celebrations.
To offer one criticism, and so this doesn't seem like it was written by an AI, the exterior kitchen terrace is a bit noisy due to the proximity to the road.
As for the hosts, the treatment has been excellent. They know how to read the needs of the people who pass through there and enjoy the conversations that arise during the stay.
Without a doubt it's a place I want to return to because the host is not a run-of-the-mill coliving center; it's a shared home where you stop feeling like an outsider after only a few hours of staying.
I will be back.
I was lucky to arrive at this magical corner thanks to the Fixar program, with a project idea under my arm. What I didn’t imagine was that, besides helping me develop it, they would help me see things differently.
It was my first experience in a coliving and, if they are all like this, I think I’ve found a new way to travel. It’s a wonderful place to work, disconnect, and, almost without realizing it, feel part of something.
The first thing was meeting almost the whole family of the host, who in the friendliest and most spontaneous way welcomed me and showed me the space. I think I didn’t stop being amazed until I fell from the zip line.
The house is beautiful and has been lovingly refurbished, full of small corners that honor family history and tell us how our grandparents lived. It’s full of magical details: the fireplace, the rock on which the coworking space rests, the small holes where there used to be beehives, the door that leads to the clothesline... Each corner holds a little story. It’s an incredibly cozy place and, although everything invites you to stay, its true heart is the kitchen: the most open and spacious gathering space I have ever lived in. There, between coffees, shared meals and long after-meal conversations, that feeling of home grew and stayed with me throughout the experience.
And what really makes the host special is the people who bring music to the place. One staff member, a determined bagpiper, with authentic and joyful listening, and another staff member, a guitarist with a deep voice, a good conversationalist and a reserved character, form a couple as sweet as they are welcoming who, together with their two little helpers, make you feel at home in just five minutes. Another staff member brings boundless energy and good humor, with a tambourine and a voice that cradles the soul. And another staff member, who is passing through but played a fundamental role during my stay with her Italian spark... and more family members who bring the activities that keep us active... They all have something in common: they are good people, the kind who make room for you at the table without thinking, who have lived many experiences and share their wisdom with a generosity that moves you.
Something very beautiful also happens with the people who pass through. Usually you go down to the kitchen to make yourself a coffee and end up sharing a meal, a chat or some laughs with people you’ve just met. After a couple of days you no longer know very well who arrived before or after. The host has that rare talent for bringing together lovely people and making everything feel easy.
It is surrounded by nature and, although it is next to the road, in summer you’ll hear the nightjar while you dine and you can see butterflies and lizards strolling peacefully along the porch. It’s one of those places where nature always finds a way to sneak in. That said, if you try the zip line... hold on tight. Haha.
More than an accommodation or a coworking, this place is one of those that leave a mark. You leave with the feeling of having found a small refuge, one you know you’ll want to return to, and with your heart a little fuller.
Thank you for opening your home and sharing this corner with such affection. I hope to return very soon.
Wonderful space and atmosphere. I spent 15 days participating in the FIXAR program and the host became my home. A place to work without stress, to learn, to share, and to enjoy. 100% recommendable
The helpful hosts and the wonderful guests, there's a great atmosphere.
A wonderful stay nearby. The house is beautiful, cozy, and is in an ideal setting to enjoy tranquility and disconnect.
One of the greatest attractions has been, without a doubt, the temperature: while in much of Spain it was very hot, here we enjoyed a mild and truly pleasant climate. A real luxury in the middle of summer!
And, of course, we want to highlight the kindness and warmth of the host, who made us feel at home from the first moment.
A charming place we hope to return to. Highly recommended!
