About Portushome Coliving

PortusHome Coworking & Coliving is the island of serenity, located in Vászoly, Hungary. This small village in the northern shoreland of Lake Balaton has a miraculous atmosphere. It's a relaxing environment with stunning teracces and garden, cozy coworking and coliving facilities and breathtaking view to the hills and valleys of Balaton Uplands.

We organize regular community events like business breakfast, community lunch, pizza party, talks and meetups and sport activities (yoga, e-bike tour, nordic walking). Plus we are the home of various retreats, workshops and courses.

ABOUT THE COWORKING

Modern office environment, with all you need to work effectively: fast, stable internet, comfortable office chairs and desks, two private Skype booths, fully equipped meeting rooms (the small one for maximum of 6 ppl; large meeting room for 16 ppl), printer & scanner, flipchart, whiteboard, projector and screen. The kitchen also has all the necessary equipment: fridge, cooker, oven, micro and a professional coffee machine.

ABOUT THE COLIVING

Loft apartments
Loft style apartments accommodate maximum three people with a well equipped kitchen and a private bathroom. An extra bed is available on the ground floor and a double in the loft. The apartment has a private terrace. Prices apply for the full apartment and include the usage of coworking space.

Cabin
This unique apartment accommodates maximum two people with a well equipped kitchen and a private bathroom. Cabin can be found at the corner of PortusHome, surrounded by trees and nature. The apartment has a spacious, private terrace. Prices apply for the full apartment and include the usage of coworking space.

Double room
Double room accommodates maximum two people with private bathroom, reading corner and a private terrace. Our guests can use the fully equipped kitchen of the coworking space. Prices apply for the room and include the usage of the coworking space.

I spent a week here for coworking and coliving and it was a great experience. It was part of a Re-Charge program with lots of time to work, development, great cooking, and wine-tasting. The environment is great for walking, cycling, and discovering Lake Balaton. The team and other participants were very welcoming and inspiring. So I would definitely recommend going and recharging and discovering Hungary with the people from this wonderful coliving.!

I spent 1 month at this coliving for coworking and it was a great experience. It was part of a Recharge program with lots of time to work, development, great cooking and wine-tasting. The environment is great for walking, cycling and discovering Lake Balaton. And Vezprem (the EU cultural capital of 2023) is also closeby! The team and other participants were very welcoming and inspiring. So I would definitely recommend going to recharge and discover Hungary with the people from this coliving.

Plus: The design, practical building, and beautiful surroundings are great. The interior is nice with meeting rooms, a coffee machine, equipped kitchen, and a selection of drinks and food. The price/value ratio is adequate and the manager/owner is kind. The internet is fast.
Minus: In today's 34 degrees weather, the air conditioning barely worked. This could be due to cost-saving measures or because someone complained about it. There's always that one super sensitive person who makes everyone else sweat like crazy.
Conclusion: It's a great place but unfortunately doesn't work for me because I can't do mental work at 27 degrees temperature.

We stayed at this coliving for a month and the accommodation was fantastic - modern and comfortable. The location is also amazing, on the outskirts of a beautiful village in a peaceful area, perfect for relaxation. It's also conveniently close to Balaton and many great sights and restaurants.

I came here for an evening of cooking together. It was an incredible experience to prepare dinner under the guidance of a master chef. I will definitely come again! Thanks!
