Our mission and vision are to provide a space of encounter and learning. We want Quinta da Messejana to be a space where people come to share, experiment, create, and experience. The idea is to bring people together through communal activities such as co-living, co-working, seminars, workshops or small art events (e.g. concerts or exhibitions).
We want to be a space for freedom of opinion and social diversity, embedded in the surroundings of an intact ecosystem with a strong connection to the local community. We aim for people staying long- and short-term. So much for our vision—currently, we're in the midst of the renovation process of an old farm close to Torres Vedras, about an hour north of Lisbon. We have four yurt-inspired tiny houses, three of which are inhabited by our core team of four people. The fourth one is being prepared for rental. This is our first offer, and if things go as planned, we should have 18 rooms available in the near future, along with many common spaces for people to engage in creative activities.
