Destination
Essaouira, the Bohemian at the oceanfront.
There are still extraordinary places that exist on this planet. Essaouira is one of them where you will feel like arriving at home as soon as you reach that place. The city is located at the Atlantic coast of Morocco and you will feel the welcoming atmosphere from the very first moment.
The Moroccan coastal town enjoys a mild climate with 350 days of sunshine a year and offers everything you need to be happy: deserted beaches, music and art in the streets, history, a charming hospitality of the inhabitants and an excellent gastronomy aswell as bars to stay and enjoy.
In this paradise, we have created a space that combines work and leisure: the Work and Beach Morocco by Riad Zahra. The house is situated in a prime beach location. Within a short distance, you can reach places that offer outdoor activities for all kinds of tastes. Grab a surfboard or a kiteboard and venture out on the waves, ride a horse along the beach or just enjoy the sun. It's hard to resist the range of activities on offer. You can combine leisure and work. The old town and the city centre are a twenty-minute walk away.
Riad Zahra is a magical, colourful and cosy place with traditional Moroccan architecture that offers space for digital nomads and creatives.
Feel
like at home.
Start your day by jumping into the water or grab your laptop and get to work. You can do this next to the pool or in one of the coworking rooms with a view of the sea. Afterwards, take a long walk on the beach or grab your surfboard and hit the waves.
You can have breakfast in the cafeteria. Enjoy yourself having a beer and tapas in our GastroBar. Relax in our lounge, where you can read, chat or work. Our restaurant has a market kitchen. On winter evenings you can sit in front of the fireplace and enjoy a good meal. We also have an outdoor barbecue, where you can organise barbecues with meat or fish.
All common areas have been designed to make guests feel at home and to give them the opportunity to socialise, share ideas and the same interests with other nomads.
