The host is a place full of magic that connected me with my inner child through games, laughter, spontaneity, and constant creativity. I arrived looking for connections, a healthy life, and nature, and I not only found that, but left overflowing with vitality and joy.

The host was the very first coliving I stayed at. The original plan was to stay for 1–2 months, but I ended up staying for 5 months. The place is managed to provide a stable environment, which means people stay for at least a month, and new people only arrive at the beginning of each month. Some have lived there for years. This originally felt restrictive to me, but after staying at multiple other places with constant change, I really learned to appreciate it.The host provides a family-like atmosphere where one can grow. Expect to spend one hour each week helping with cleaning and to cook for everybody once every three weeks. Cooking can be scary at first, but in return, every weekday you get a free, delicious lunch in a shared community setting. If you are looking for a community to belong to while living in a green area, with all the necessities and shops nearby, and the option to go for a forest walk right from the house, I can really recommend giving the host a try.

The host is an amazing community. Sharing meals together, especially lunch, was one of my favorite parts. I’ve lived in several shared houses and coliving spaces before, but none of them had this kind of shared lunch, and it really helped me connect with people.I came here during a difficult period in my life, and staying here was one of the best decisions I could have made. I met beautiful people, felt genuinely supported, and have so much love for the people I met here. The organizers are truly kind and attentive. They really care about the people who stay here, and you can feel it.The place is surrounded by nature, with great hiking nearby, which makes it even more special. It’s peaceful but still feels full of life. It’s true that having a car makes things easier, but there are bikes available, and I got around on my skateboard without any problem. This is the kind of place you don’t just visit once. You feel like coming back :)

I would like to thank the hosts for creating this place. It's a truly inspiring place to slow down, reset, and make meaningful connections with amazing people from all over the world. Whether you're going through a life transition, looking for a creative environment, or simply seeking a supportive community, this place is a wonderful place to be. I'll always remember my time here and the incredible people I had the chance to meet. Thank you for such a special experience.

I spent a month in this coliving and from the first day I felt very welcome. It was a space where my time and personal space were always respected, but at the same time I received a lot of support to get to know the area, connect with other people, and feel part of the community. The events, shared moments, and connections were very special, and the daily shared lunch became a very simple anchor that gave rhythm to the days and reminded me how a community can make life feel more balanced, sustainable, and less lonely. What I value most is the balance you can feel here: between discipline and relaxation, between personal growth and rest. It is a place that, in a very natural way, teaches you to be present, to contribute to the community, and also to let yourself be cared for when you need it.It was a very simple and profound experience at the same time. I leave with much gratitude and with the feeling of having found a home, even if only for a month.

I stayed with the host for nearly a month. I arrived with just a few expectations - finding space for focused work and ability to connect with others. But my experience became much more than that.Located at the foot of a nearby national park, the host is surrounded in early summer by golden cornfields, a nearby cooling mountain stream, and a majestic hill that rises above the entire valley. For centuries, this mountain has served as a landmark for navigation. To me, it came to symbolize the region’s warmth and sense of nourishment, which I felt most strongly during early morning walks in nature or on my way to a nearby town, along its enchanting tree-lined promenade, toward a strong café con leche. All this blended harmoniously into my “the host experience”.Beyond the spontaneous activities—local events and markets, as well as my excursions to a nearby city—what made the experience unique was the people I shared the space with.A central part of community life is the shared lunches, where everyone takes turns cooking for the group. Supporting and being supported may seem like an obvious part of communal living, but at the host it felt deeper: never forced or performed but genuinely lived. The host experience is about consciously cultivating and exploring relationships. Difference is not merely accepted; it is what keeps the communal organism alive and growing. This is reflected in daily life, where scheduled meetings and individual responsibilities are balanced by spontaneous gatherings and activities. Structure and responsibility meet curiosity and play. This is also visible in the types of residency. The “Long-term” residents provide continuity and orientation, while the “short-term” ones bring a healthy sense of "disruption" by introducing fresh perspectives and new relational dynamics. I sensed a deep complementarity that stimulates the innate vitality within the community.I am glad that the owners, whose vision has shaped and cultivated this nourishing atmosphere, are now taking it to the next level with the host’s program. They are making their knowledge and experience available to others who feel inspired to bring this unique coliving model elsewhere.I highly recommend the “the host experience” to anyone with a playful mind and a genuine curiosity to explore relationships with others—and, most importantly, with themselves.

My stay with this host marked a before and after. It's a very welcoming place, with a peaceful atmosphere, spectacular natural surroundings, inspiring people, and countless activities to do if you want, offered both by the community and the town.

An inspiring space, highly recommended for those who can work from anywhere in the world, but who need a place where they feel at home for a while.

Thank you!

I stayed with the host for a month and had a really refreshing experience!

I had a room by the garden with plenty of sunlight and fresh air, which made a big difference to my day-to-day routine. The location is amazing, peaceful and surrounded by nature, a complete contrast to the hectic pace of city life.

There are lots of natural spots around the property for walks, runs, or even a swim, which makes it easy to stay active. The host also provides bicycles, so getting to the nearby town for shopping or a coffee is super convenient.

Overall, it's a calm, laid-back place that's perfect if you're looking to slow down, enjoy nature, and reset for a while.

My time at the coliving was truly a transformative period in my life, mostly due to the wonderful people I got to know there. It is a unique place where you can reconnect with nature, your playful side, and get out of your comfort zone to learn more about yourself.

Be aware that you are expected to play an active role within the community: cleaning tasks, weekly gatherings, and shopping/preparing lunch for the whole group once every 2 to 3 weeks. Especially the lunch can ask for some preparation to fit into your schedule when you are also working full-time (grocery shopping/cooking/cleaning), especially if you haven’t cooked for 15 people before. But I do believe this arrangement brings a lot of value to the community experience, and all the other days you can enjoy food prepared by others. Lunch, in that way, was truly a special time for me to connect with everyone and discover new dishes.

The location is beautiful, and I haven’t found something like it before. It is right at the entrance of a national park, has a village and river within walking distance, and is by train close to cities like Barcelona and Girona. Just keep in mind that getting to the station can add significantly to your travel time when you do not have a car. Although most of the time, there will be someone willing to take you along by car if they have to pass the station anyways.

Another good thing to know is that the coliving has a mix of long-term (sometimes 2+ years) and short-term residents. You will therefore find here a mix of digital nomads, locals, people with day jobs in the city, travelers, entrepreneurs, and everything in between. I think this allows you to learn and connect with people from ‘different bubbles,’ so to speak, in a beautiful way. This is different from most coliving concepts that focus more on temporary ‘digital nomad’ stays, but also from several other ‘community projects’ where the upfront commitments are oftentimes bigger.

Most of the time, long-term residents stay in the main house, and short-term residents stay in the house next to it down the road. You share the coworking/lunch/outside spaces and some activities, and are always more than welcome in the main house, even if you are not staying there. But I do believe that because of this setup, you will get the most out of your experience if you stay here at least 3 months. Just to fully dive into the community experience and get to know everyone properly. I stayed 6 months total and noticed that every month, the experience would touch me in a slightly different/deeper way.

Go with an open mind and heart, and I’m sure the coliving and its people will bring you something on your journey.

Thanks, guys, for everything!
