Dito isto, o nosso objetivo é resolver os três maiores desafios que os recém-chegados a Copenhaga enfrentam;
Encontrar habitação - Como já referi, Copenhaga tem atualmente uma crise de habitação a preços acessíveis e é extremamente difícil entrar no mercado da habitação. Mesmo que se consiga encontrar alojamento, é extremamente caro e é comum pedirem-nos 3 meses de renda adiantada e ainda um depósito de 3 meses. Nós resolvemos isso oferecendo um acesso mensal completamente flexível. As pessoas têm de ficar por um período mínimo de um mês e podem ficar o tempo que quiserem. Limitamos o número de alugueres de curta duração porque não é o ideal para a comunidade - não queremos que as pessoas entrem e saiam e perturbem a comunidade já estabelecida.
Comunidade - Mudar para um novo país é solitário, é preciso pegar nas coisas e deixar a sua rede de contactos para trás. Muitos dos nossos membros nunca estiveram em Copenhaga, pelo que estão a começar do zero. Com a LifeX, chegam com uma rede e uma comunidade já estabelecida de pessoas que se encontram numa situação semelhante. Organizamos jantares de domingo, noites de Game of Thrones, noites de jogos e passeios de bicicleta pela cidade. Não queremos forçar a interação com os nossos membros, por isso nada é obrigatório, mas organizamos estes eventos como um ponto de contacto de rotina entre os membros. Até agora, tem sido ótimo! Especialmente os jantares de domingo, que fazemos num estilo potluck - todos os que vêm têm de trazer alguma coisa.
Serviços - O nosso objetivo é reduzir ao máximo o stress da mudança para que as pessoas se possam concentrar no seu novo emprego e explorar a fantástica Copenhaga. Oferecemos um pacote Quick Start que lhe permite preparar todos os seus registos e práticas, bem como o processamento de vistos e autorizações de trabalho. Estamos realmente a tentar fornecer um serviço completo de ponta a ponta para que as pessoas possam aterrar em Copenhaga da melhor forma possível e ter uma excelente primeira experiência.
Os nossos membros
Atualmente, temos 15 membros, distribuídos por 2 apartamentos no centro de Copenhaga. O nosso terceiro apartamento está a caminho e com ele preenchido teremos 25 membros. Até agora, os nossos membros têm sido maioritariamente da área da tecnologia e de todo o mundo. Temos pessoas dos EUA, Brasil, Roménia, Reino Unido, Sérvia, Suécia, Dinamarca e muito mais. Também temos uma boa mistura de pessoas em termos da forma como utilizam a LifeX; algumas utilizaram-nos como plataforma de aterragem para depois encontrarem a sua própria casa e outras juntaram-se a nós porque adoram a ideia de co-living e querem ficar connosco a longo prazo. Houve mesmo alguém que disse que só ficaria connosco até encontrar o seu próprio apartamento, porque a sua mulher ia juntar-se a ele em breve em Copenhaga e ele gostou tanto que agora estão ambos a viver connosco.

I lived with them on my first year in Copenhagen, and they provide a very useful service for coliving apartments, making it feel like you are renting your own apartment. The staff behind it is super professional, and they are there for you.
Stayed with coliving over summer 2023. We had a great experience; the team was always handy when we needed (via the app) and made our move to Copenhagen much, much simpler.
I have been overall happy with my accommodation at coliving in Copenhagen. It was very convenient to arrange; there were no problems during my stay, and coliving has been communicating promptly when needed.
Nice concept for everyone that stays somewhere short term or looks for a temporary stay.

A world-class team at coliving facilitates some of the most comfortable living you can find in big European cities. I have been living in one of their serviced apartments for over 18 months, and the community that the startup has created has led to lifelong friends, couples who are getting married that met through coliving, and a lot of fun with people from all over the world. Besides the insanely comfortable apartments, some of my favorite memories in Copenhagen are with people I've met at or who are a part of coliving. If I were relocating anywhere in the world where there was a coliving, I would do it, as the best landing in a new country and a great way to meet people. The team behind the company has developed a concept that is so much more than just a home, but a really awesome community.
An excellent solution challenging the rental market. It offers more than just a place to stay or a roof over your head - you have your new family and support in all of the questions that may pop into your head. Worth spending an extra dime on it in comparison to alternatives.
One of the best ways of starting an adventure abroad, removing all the headache produced by the relocation change.
Coliving makes life much easier by giving you not only a cozy apartment to stay in but the chance to be part of a wide community where you can engage with others who are in the same situation.
Great solution for newcomers in big cities in Europe, less bureaucracy as possible/easy check-in (lots of info in the app and support from the team)/social activities to meet new people. Worth the price from my experience in Copenhagen.
Clean, well managed. A very comfortable, welcoming place to stay when first moving to Copenhagen, especially for a job since rent is not cheap for a single room—but substantially less than paying the deposit on your own place. It is easy to move in, the contract is simple and transparent compared to private apartments in town, and everything is furnished (all rather high quality too).
There is a great community of people here, who can help you find your place in the city. Some have been staying here several years, while others are just arriving (and you can trade notes on challenges like registration, phone cards, bank accounts, etc.). Occasionally social events are put together. Overall, staying here helped me focus on being successful at my new job and getting established in a new place, and I really enjoyed all the great tips from housemates about destinations to bike to and get coffee!
