This Villa was built in the traditional mud/salt style, but with the needs of coworking and coliving guests in mind. 4-hour 'Uninterrupted Power Supply' for the router and Wi-Fi points in case of power cuts. Fully fitted kitchen, large oven, two bathrooms. It's a house share and all that goes with it. Communal areas, dinner service for up to 9 people and a huge fire pit on the roof for after work. Very quiet for working during the day and a good night's sleep at night. The house is strictly no guests unless all are ok with it. No locals, no one coming into the house unless everyone is aware of them in advance. It is not a hotel vibe.
Staff are on hand to help out, trips to hot springs and desert at weekends and any help with whatever you need is on hand.

The vibe is that work comes first during the day, and exploring the oasis comes first on the weekends. Being productive is key. Experiencing the Siwan culture at the weekends is key too :) Laid-back vibe, independent travellers: the house is strictly for guests only, so that you will feel very relaxed and secure in the house and coworking areas. Communal dinners, trips out together to the hot springs and desert at the weekends.

About Behind the Shali
The villa is located next to the old mud mosque behind the Shali in the old mud house area of Siwa. The pics you see of the old town, this is it. Very quiet neighbourhood, just the odd donkey, yet right in the town, 5 mins from restaurants, shops, etc.

You must be working, studying, or involved with a project that makes you work smart during the week and want to explore somewhere different at the weekends. Check-ins at 7.00 am from the night bus if the room is free. If not, you can check in, but you need to wait for your room until 2.00 pm if still occupied. Check out is 10.00 am. If you are catching the night bus, you can leave your bags in the house, but you must still vacate your room at 10.00 am
