We are the first Coliving and Coworking space in Egypt. Our Villa was fully renovated in 2023 with the help of more than 20 volunteers - A place made from & for people from all over the world: Remote Workers, Entrepreneurs and Digital Nomads and those wo enjoy to life in community.

Since Hurghada is a very sunny and hot place, our Coliving community is able to meet inside and outside. We offer weekly Community Events such as NERD-Dinner, Movie & Games-Night, Shisha & Tea-Night and are more than happy to support you with further information’s.

Our newly built Villa contains a Pool & roof Top, two community Kitchens, two BBQ-Stations, a cozy outdoor living room, and an outdoor coworking & event area. The villa contains single, double and Twin rooms with private and shared bathrooms. All rooms are equipped with Air conditioning, a work desk, lamp, mirror and a minimum bed size of 1.20m. All common areas are cleaned twice a week. Prices include weekly cleaning and new bedding/towels.

Our property is an international project from the start, constructed by over 20 volunteers hailing from diverse corners of the globe. Our goal is to establish a place where individuals can partake in meaningful interactions, foster personal development, and celebrate the rich tapestry of our world and its inhabitants. It is a space for collaboration, providing a platform for individuals to share their unique journeys, stories, and expertise with a diverse group of personalities, characters, and energies. We are is located in the quiet and peaceful district “Mubarak 7” between El Gouna and Hurghada. With only a 20 minute drive from the airport, and a 15 min drive to the center of Hurghada, we sit outside the hustle and bustle of the busy towns in our own special oasis. A Supermarket and two restaurants are only 5min by foot away.

  • The room you will be assigned might differ slightly from the photos but will match the room type. You are booking a room/bed by type, not a specific unit.
  • Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.
  • You don´t need to tour the property, and here is why:
    - Properties on Coliving.com have pictures and a clear description of the community, rooms, and common areas. Most of them also have 3D or video tours.
    - Restricting viewings provide equal opportunities for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad. Plus, it preserves the privacy of our coliving communities.
    - If anything is unclear, you can easily reach out to the property by clicking "Contact host" and ask for more details. Make sure your questions are not already covered in the description or the FAQ section.
    - Coliving.com makes sure the coliving property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the operator 24h after you have successfully moved in.

  • Yes. You are more than welcome to join our community events and get in contact with other guests. However, it´s up to you and always a very personal decision how much you want to integrate yourself into the community. You are more then welcome to do so!
  • Sadly, No. Pets are not allowed. You will find in the villa one rabbit and two cats.
  • Yes. We provide a large Coworking space with chairs and tables, screens, keyboard and mouse. The space also includes a printer, a large TV and two couches for a more comfortable working-style. From the Coworking-Space you can directly enter the garden/pool area and get refreshed!
  • Remote Workers, Entrepreneurs, Digital Nomads and those who enjoy to life in community, exchange experiences and want to be part of an international community.
  • We do allow couples and friends to stay in our bigger rooms, ensuring there’s plenty of space for your needs and comfort.

  • Booking
  • Please let us know about your person and motivation to stay with us. This provides us the opportunity to ensure the best experience for you and your colivers.
  • We look for open-minded, considerate individuals who are looking for an opportunity to share a beautiful home with other exciting people.
  • You are allowed to move in earlier if the room is ready. You may get in contact with us the day before you move in to coordinate. If you wish to move out late, you are free to use our communal areas.
  • Extension is possible if there is space available. If you would like to shorten your stay, we consider to refund max. 50%.
  • We gladly accept co-signers for applicants with limited credit history or income.
  • We do not check your credit history. The main factors to be accepted into our community are honesty, transparency, and the purpose of your trip.
  • Security deposit is typically returned shortly after your stay ends. We will review your room for any excessive damage that would impact your security deposit return. Normal wear and tear are expected.
  • Policies
  • Guests are allowed in the visiting area but NOT in the bedrooms. Strictly no guests overnight. Be aware that we can assume no liability for your guests or their possessions.
  • As this is essentially a working environment, our facilities aren’t baby-proofed or child-friendly. Having kids around can be a major distraction for other colivers and you. So, it’s a no.
  • We do not accept pets.
    By law, we allow service dogs. Our staff is allowed to ask two questions to determine what service the animal provides if it's not obvious:
    1. Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? and
    2. What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
    We define service animals as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Examples of such work or tasks include guiding people who are blind, alerting people who are deaf, pulling a wheelchair, alerting and protecting a person who is having a seizure, reminding a person with mental illness to take prescribed medications, calming a person with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during an anxiety attack, or performing other duties. Service animals are working animals, not pets. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person’s disability. Dogs and pets whose sole function is only to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA, and will not be allowed.

  • Of course. If a room is released and you want to move in, you will have the opportunity to pay the rent difference. We may also charge an additional room cleaning fee.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in any part of the building. That includes all private and communal rooms and hallways If you choose to smoke, please stay outside and make sure you dispose of cigarette butts properly.
  • Yes. We will provide updated info once you have moved in.
  • On the weekday, quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am, and 12 am to 9 am on weekends. As with any shared housing scenario, the golden rule is to be respectful of others in your community and not wake them up or disturb them if they’re trying to have a quiet night.
  • It’s your home, so feel free to enjoy a drink whenever you wish, so long as you are respectful of your housemates. If you want to party, make sure you do that away from the property or invite housemates to join you.
  • Amenities
  • You are responsible for covering the costs of your own food, possessions, transit, day trips, and weekend trips.
  • The common areas come fully furnished.
    Bedrooms are furnished with everything essential.
    You can add/remove any furniture (including the hanging of pictures) as long as the room is returned to its original condition at the end of your tenancy.
  • Sadly, No. But you have a kitchen that you can use anytime you want to prepare your food. There are grocery stores nearby for your convenience.
  • Entire and deep cleaning is carried out every week, including linen and towel changes.
    We would expect and appreciate it that you clean up after yourself if you make any excessive mess.
  • We have laundry machines available to everyone.
  • Yes. Our driver will be more than happy to do so. Please get in contact with us min. 2 days before arrival / departure.
  • Yes. We offer additional room cleaning on demand.
  • You have access to a kitchen that you can use anytime you want to prepare your food.
    We ask that you clean up any mess you make during and after food preparation.

  • Safety
  • Even though we have been lucky that nothing has gone missing, we recommend all our members to keep their valuable belongings in their rooms. For extra precaution, buy a Renters Insurance in case of lost items and accidents.
  • Yes. Every room can be locked.
  • We take your safety very seriously. The last thing we want is to have a reputation for not being a safe place to stay. The property is surrounded by a 2.50m wall and a gate that is locked during the night. There are also security cameras in the outdoor area around the villa as well as at the entrance gate. Plus, you have people in the house practically 24 hours a day.
  • Our coliving home is in a perfectly safe neighborhood where you can walk by yourself in the evening without any problem.
  • Nearby
  • With just a few minute's walk, you find two cheap restaurants with international and typical Egyptian food.
  • There is no official public transportation available. We suggest to use UBER/IN-Drive to drive within Hurghada/EL Gouna. Comfortable Long-distance busses are available starting in the center of Hurghada.
  • The nearest airport is the international Airport of Hurghada, 15-20min away by car.
  • To keep you and your friends entertained, you may go for Snorkling & Diving trips, Dessert-Safaris, Beach-Clubs/Bars, El Gouna, Wind- & Kitesurfing, Nightlife of Hurghada and much more opportunities.
