Coliving in the Las Terrenas Home

All residents have a bedroom within the home for more privacy. Each bedroom has a lock and the window shutters are completely closable.
Residents are to share the furnished common areas respectfully.

If you book the entire Villa you will have complete privacy including the pool and Kitchen. The only shared space will be the parking space and an area o the garden.

Sadly, we don't allow pets. We have a very independent cat, in common with the neighbours. She tends to be very sweet and friendly if she meets cat lovers who give her time and attention.

We do allow couples and friends to stay in one room.
Please note that an additional charge of 100 euros per month applies.

You have plenty of flexible workspace options to suit your mood and your requirements for the day. Some coworking tables and also a personal workspace on your room terrace or balcony.

We mostly rent our rooms to digital nomads or expats. However, you can check the community description to see who are our typical guests.

The room you will be assigned might differ slightly from the photos but will match the room type. You are booking a room/bed by type, not a specific unit.

You don´t need to tour the property, and here is why:
- Properties on Coliving.com have pictures and a clear description of the community, rooms, and common areas. Most of them also have 3D or video tours.
- Restricting viewings provide equal opportunities for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad. Plus, it preserves the privacy of our coliving communities.
- If anything is unclear, you can easily reach out to the property by clicking "Contact host" and ask for more details. Make sure your questions are not already covered in the description or the FAQ section.
- Coliving.com makes sure the coliving property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the operator 24h after you have successfully moved in.
- If the property substantially differ from what is advertiser, you report it to us and we will help you find another place.

Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.

You are allowed to move in earlier if the room is ready. You may get in contact with us the day before you move in to coordinate.
If you wish to move out late, you are free to use our communal areas.

If your room is available, we would love for you to stay longer.

We gladly accept co-signers for applicants with limited credit history or income.

We do not check your credit history. The main factors to be accepted into our community are honesty, transparency, and the purpose of your trip.

Security deposit is returned at checkout. We will review your room for any excessive damage that would impact your security deposit return.

If the accommodation is not suitable, please contact the staff on arrival and they will do their best to find a mutually agreeable solution.

You can cancel free of charge before you pay. After payment, the listing's cancellation policy applies.

You may book a shorter stay first and then extend once you know more about your needs subject to availability.

Guests are allowed in the visiting area.
Be aware that we can assume no liability for your guests or their possessions.

It’s your home, so feel free to enjoy a drink whenever you wish, so long as you are respectful of your housemates.

The common areas come fully furnished.
Bedrooms are furnished with everything essential.
You can add/remove any furniture (including the hanging of pictures) as long as the room is returned to its original condition at the end of your tenancy.

There are grocery stores nearby for your convenience.

Entire and deep cleaning is carried out every week, including linen and towel changes.
Please take care of the place and if you have a shared bathroom we kindly ask you to keep it as clean and tidy as possible.

No. We will do it, no worries. We appreciate if you clean in case of any accidental mess or report in case you stain the laundry accidentally. So as we can try to clean it together.

We have a big kitchen-leaving room space in each twin villa. Also, a big garden with infinity pool and 2 hammocks.

There are 3 rooms in one villa and 4 rooms in the other villa (with joint garden).

Yes. The community manager is responsible for maintaining a good atmosphere in the house and the well-being of the members.

We welcome people from everywhere.

Most people are staying with us for a while. Between 1 to 4 months on average.

Even though we have been lucky that nothing has gone missing, we recommend all our members to keep their valuable belongings in their rooms. Each room has a lock and a safe. For extra precaution, buy a Renters Insurance in case of lost items and accidents.

Yes. There is also a safe in each room.

We take your safety very seriously. The last thing we want is to have a reputation for not being a safe place to stay. We screen both our staff and residents, provide 24-hour security and CCTV cameras are usually installed. Plus, you have people in the house practically 24 hours a day.

Our coliving home is in a perfectly safe neighborhood where you can walk by yourself in without any problem.

With just a few minute's drive, you have a selection of good and cheap restaurants.

There are buses going to the other cities of the region and to the capital Santo Domingo everyday.

You can take a taxi from Santo Domingo airport to Las Terrenas in 2 hours. There are also buses from Santo Domingo to Las Terrenas multiple times per day.
