The Goutte d'Or district takes its name from the wine that was produced there until the 19th century. Nowadays, it is a popular and cosmopolitan district, with many shops and restaurants for all tastes. Two of the most famous establishments are the Barbès brasserie and the Louxor cinema. The advantage of this district is its direct proximity with the district of Montmartre (Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Place du Tertre...). The district also has several green spaces, the largest of which is the Jardin d'Eole.
