Will I have privacy?Yes. Each resident has their own private apartment, fully equipped for comfort and independence. At the same time, you’ll have access to beautiful common areas — perfect for connecting, relaxing, or sharing moments with the community.

Are pets allowed?We love pets, but generally, they aren't allowed. However, we do make exceptions for certified emotional support animals or medical companion animals with the right documentation. If this applies to you, please let us know in advance!

Is there a designated space for work?Yes! Each apartment has a comfy spot to get work done, and we also have a shared coworking area surrounded by jungle. It’s the kind of place where you can focus, get inspired, and maybe bounce ideas around with another nomad over coffee.

What types of people will I be sharing the home with?It’s not a shared house — each person has their own private apartment. But you’ll be surrounded by travelers from all over: digital nomads, musicians, creatives… people who are here to slow down, connect, and be part of something special.

Will I get the same room as on the photos?The room you will be assigned might differ slightly from the photos but will match the room type. You are booking a room/bed by type, not a specific unit.

Can I tour the property first?You don´t need to tour the property, and here is why:
- Properties on Coliving.com have pictures and a clear description of the community, rooms, and common areas. Most of them also have 3D or video tours.
- Restricting viewings provide equal opportunities for everyone, whether you are a local or live abroad. Plus, it preserves the privacy of our coliving communities.
- If anything is unclear, you can easily reach out to the property by clicking "Contact host" and ask for more details. Make sure your questions are not already covered in the description or the FAQ section.
- Coliving.com makes sure the coliving property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the operator 24h after you have successfully moved in.
- If the property substantially differ from what is advertiser, you report it to us and we will help you find another place. -
My booking has been accepted, now what?Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.

What information do I need to supply for the application?Just the basics — your full name, preferred dates, email and a short intro about you (what you do, where you're from, and what brings you to Tulum). We love getting to know a little about our future guests!

What criteria do you use to evaluate potential renters?We look for kind, respectful, and open-minded people who vibe with our values of creativity, community, and conscious living. Whether you're a remote worker, artist, or traveler — all good vibes are welcome.

Is it possible to arrive before the designated move-in time or stay past the move-out time?If the apartment is already clean and ready, early check-in is totally fine. For late check-out, there may be a small extra fee depending on how long you need and whether the apartment is booked later that day. If you arrive earlier than expected, you're always welcome to hang out in our common area while we get everything ready for you.

Can I extend or shorten my stay?If you’d like to extend, no problem — as long as we have availability, we’ve got you.
If you need to shorten your stay, we kindly ask that you let us know at least 2 days before check-in, since last-minute changes affect future bookings. -
Do I need to sign a contract/lease?No long-term lease is required. We keep it simple with a digital agreement that covers your stay and keeps things clear for everyone.

Do you accept co-signers?In most cases, we don’t require a co-signer. But for longer stays or special cases, we might ask for one — just to keep everything clear and secure for everyone. Feel free to reach out if you’re unsure, we’re happy to help.

Is there a Credit Score required?Nope — we don’t require a credit score. What matters most to us is who you are and how well you vibe with the community, not your financial history.

When/how will you refund my security deposit?If a security deposit applies, it will be refunded within 7 business days after check-out, as long as everything’s in good shape. We keep it simple, fair, and transparent.

Can I cancel a booking?You can cancel free of charge as long as you have not paid. Once you have paid for your booking, the cancellation policy must be respected.

Are the private bedrooms cleaned frequently?Yes! We take pride in keeping our space clean and welcoming. For stays of 8 days or more, we provide one mid-stay cleaning, and for monthly rentals, we include one cleaning per week to ensure your comfort.

Is there a house/community manager?Yes! You’ll usually find at least 3 of us living here — we're the co-founders. You may not see us all the time, but we’re around, and we’re always available online to support you if you need anything. :)

What are the nationalities of the other residents?Most of our community is Latin — with lots of amazing Argentinians around — but you’ll also meet people from all over the world. Creatives, remote workers, musicians, and free spirits.

Are my belongings safe?Absolutely. Each apartment is private and lockable, so your belongings stay safe and sound — just like at home.

Can I lock my bedroom door?Yes! All units have secure locks on the main doors. You'll receive your key at check-in and it’s all yours during your stay.

Does the building have security? What is done to make me feel safe?Yes, the entire coliving is equipped with safety measures. We have security cameras covering the common areas, and the perimeter of the building is protected with electric wiring. While we don’t have 24/7 guards, our space is private and most of the people staying here are part of the Nomad Humans crew. Plus, our team is always available to support you if anything comes up.

How far is it to the nearest airport?The nearest airport is about 42 minutes away by car. We recommend taking a bus to the nearest town station, then a short taxi ride to reach our coliving community.
