My booking has been accepted, now what?

Booking

What information do I need to supply for the application?

Just the basics — your full name, preferred dates, email and a short intro about you (what you do, where you're from, and what brings you to Tulum). We love getting to know a little about our future guests!

What criteria do you use to evaluate potential renters?

We look for kind, respectful, and open-minded people who vibe with our values of creativity, community, and conscious living. Whether you're a remote worker, artist, or traveler — all good vibes are welcome.

Is it possible to arrive before the designated move-in time or stay past the move-out time?

If the apartment is already clean and ready, early check-in is totally fine. For late check-out, there may be a small extra fee depending on how long you need and whether the apartment is booked later that day. If you arrive earlier than expected, you're always welcome to hang out in our common area while we get everything ready for you.

Policies

Is it permissible to have visitors during the day/night?

Yes, of course — we want you to feel at home. Just be mindful of the shared spaces and keep things respectful for the rest of the community.

What is the policy on alcohol?

You’re welcome to enjoy alcohol in your apartment. In common areas, it’s fine until 11:30 PM — just be mindful to clean up and keep the space enjoyable for everyone.

Amenities

What potential costs are there besides the rent?

In addition to rent, there may be some extra costs depending on your needs. For instance, if you’d like additional cleanings, that can be arranged. For stays longer than two months, utilities might be charged separately, but don’t worry, we’ll always keep you informed in advance!

Are all rooms furnished?

Yes! All our apartments come fully furnished and move-in ready.

Any meals/snacks included?

While we don't provide meals or snacks, we do offer complimentary drinking water in your apartment, and our shared area is stocked with everything you need to brew a delicious cup of coffee. We encourage you to enjoy the communal kitchen and share your culinary creations with fellow residents!

Community

Do you host groups/retreats?

We’re happy to help organize retreats if you’re planning one! Just reach out and we’ll see how we can bring your idea to life.

How many people will be living here during my stay?

We have 12 private apartments, but depending on the season, it can vary — some months are quieter in Tulum. You might share the space with just a few nomads or with a small, vibrant crew.

Is there a house/community manager?

Yes! You’ll usually find at least 3 of us living here — we're the co-founders. You may not see us all the time, but we’re around, and we’re always available online to support you if you need anything. :)

What are the nationalities of the other residents?

Safety

Are my belongings safe?

Absolutely. Each apartment is private and lockable, so your belongings stay safe and sound — just like at home.

Can I lock my bedroom door?

Yes! All units have secure locks on the main doors. You'll receive your key at check-in and it’s all yours during your stay.

Does the building have security? What is done to make me feel safe?

Yes, the entire coliving is equipped with safety measures. We have security cameras covering the common areas, and the perimeter of the building is protected with electric wiring. While we don’t have 24/7 guards, our space is private and most of the people staying here are part of the Nomad Humans crew. Plus, our team is always available to support you if anything comes up.

Nearby

Are there any good restaurants nearby?

Yes! We’re just a few minutes away (by bike or scooter) from the best spots in La Veleta. You’ll find a variety of local and international restaurants, cafés, and cozy corners for brunch or dinner — all curated by the jungle’s vibe.

What public transportation is available?

Tulum doesn’t really have a well-structured public transportation system. The best way to move around is definitely by scooter or bike — it’s the local way of life! Don’t worry, we offer scooter rentals so you can explore freely and easily.

How far is it to the nearest airport?

The nearest airport is about 42 minutes away by car. We recommend taking a bus to the nearest town station, then a short taxi ride to reach our coliving community.
