If you dislike towns that have grown too big for their size, yet crave convenience and amenities, then the city fringe neighborhood of Kallang might be the ideal place to stay. Its strategic position in the city-fringe is one of the highlights as well. Thus, It is just a mere 5-7 minutes’ drive to the Central Business District (CBD) and the Marina Bay Financial District.

In the heart of the neighborhood, you’ll also find a massive wet market and food center, which makes for a great place to fill up on local foods. There are clinics, coffee shops, and 2 supermarkets in the neighborhood. Oh, did I mention that it is only 4-5 minutes walk to the train station?
