This is a coliving and coworking home in La Punta, Puerto Escondido, Mexico.

It was created by two Mexican women who met in Puerto Escondido and decided to build a space rooted in local culture, comfort, and community.

The house is a traditional hacienda-style home decorated with handmade pieces from Oaxaca. It is warm, colorful, and designed to feel like a real home.

We offer 6 private rooms and 1 shared room. Total capacity is up to 15 guests.

Room types include private and shared options. Some rooms have private bathrooms. Others share a bathroom with one more room. All rooms include air conditioning and a lock on the door. Some rooms also include a desk.

The house has a shared kitchen, living room, garden, terrace, rooftop, BBQ area, and swimming pool. The pool is shared with a neighboring property and requires a short walk outside the main house.

Our coworking space is located on a rooftop palapa with ocean views. It includes ergonomic seating and Starlink WiFi.

Internet is stable and suitable for remote work and video calls, with occasional interruptions during heavy storms.

The house is not soundproof. You may hear natural sounds from the neighborhood, including birds, roosters, and the ocean.

We provide weekly cleaning for rooms and daily cleaning of shared spaces. Fresh linens, towels, drinking water, and coffee or tea are included.

We organize three community activities per week, such as beach days, Mexican cooking classes, yoga sessions, and shared dinners. Participation is optional.

This space is designed for remote workers and travelers who want comfort, community, and a more local experience in Mexico.

About La Punta Zicatela

We are located in La Punta, Zicatela, one of the most popular beach areas in Puerto Escondido.

The beach is around a 10-minute walk from the house, ideal for surfing, sunsets, and long beach days. The main street is about 5 minutes walking and has cafés, restaurants, bars, and small shops.

La Punta has a relaxed surf-town atmosphere. It is easy to walk everywhere, and many guests choose to rent a scooter to explore further.

Nearby you will find surf schools, yoga studios, skate spots, and a growing café scene with good options for working remotely.

Puerto Escondido also offers local markets, beach clubs, and different beaches to explore, all within a short ride from the coliving.

It is a place where you can balance work, beach life, and local experiences in the same day.

We aim to keep our booking conditions clear, fair, and respectful for both our guests and our community.

1. Deposit
A 20% deposit is required to confirm your reservation.

The remaining balance is paid upon arrival, either by cash or bank transfer.

2. Cancellations
Within 24 hours of booking
You may cancel within 24 hours of making your reservation and receive a full refund of your deposit.

More than 30 days before arrival
You will receive a full refund of your deposit.

14 to 30 days before arrival
50% of your deposit will be refunded.

Less than 14 days before arrival
The deposit is non-refundable.

3. No-show
If you do not arrive on your scheduled check-in date and haven’t let us know in advance, your booking will be considered a no-show and the deposit will be retained.

4. Date Changes
If your plans change, we’ll do our best to help you adjust your dates up to 14 days before arrival, depending on availability.

Price differences may apply depending on season and room type.

5. Early Departure
We’re unable to offer refunds for unused nights once your stay has started.

6. Community & Respect
The coliving is built around respect and community.
We may need to end a stay early if there is:
Disruptive or disrespectful behavior
Violation of house rules
Damage to the space or disturbance to the community
In these rare cases, no refunds will be issued.

Yes, we allow pets. We can host up to two small dogs at a time, as long as they are well-behaved and you take care of cleaning up after them. For hygiene reasons, pets are not allowed on beds or sofas. There may also be a small additional fee.

There is a dedicated coworking space on the rooftop with comfortable seating and ergonomic chairs, plus beautiful ocean views. It’s designed for both focus and relaxation, and there are also several other common areas around the house if you prefer to switch environments during the day. Two of the rooms include a desk as well.

Remote workers who want to actually experience Mexican culture, not just be near it. People who enjoy a peaceful daily rhythm: surf or beach in the morning, focused work through the day, good company in the evening. Solo travelers looking for real community without pressure. Anyone curious about local life, open to a cooking class, a market run, or learning a few words of Spanish along the way. Those who want a warm home base, not just a place to sleep.

The room you will be assigned might differ slightly from the photos but will match the room type. You are booking a room/bed by type, not a specific unit.

If the accommodation is not suitable, please contact the staff on arrival and they will do their best to find a mutually agreeable solution.
