- Coliving.com makes sure the coliving property is as advertised, by only sending any money to the operator 24h after you have successfully moved in.

My booking has been accepted, now what?

Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.
Do I need to sign a contract/lease?

It’s enough that you accept our Residents Terms.

Will I get the same room as on the photos?

The room you will be assigned might differ slightly from the photos but will match the room type. You are booking a room/bed by type, not a specific unit.

You may book a shorter stay first and then extend once you know more about your needs.
What if the place is not as advertised?

You have 24hrs to let us know if everything is okay. If you think you’ve been missold to, or the listing was significantly different to what you got, we’ll help you find somewhere else to live, or refund your money.
Can I cancel a booking?

You may cancel with no fees until you have paid. Once you have paid for your booking, the Cancellation Policy needs to be followed.

Yes, 100%. With a desk in your room and your own bathroom, there is a lot of privacy.
Are pets allowed?

Although we love all pets, we might have members with potential allergies, so, unfortunately, we can’t allow people to bring pets with them. We want to make sure everyone can be happy in their communal home.
Can I split the rent with my partner or a friend?

We do allow couples and friends to stay in our bigger rooms, ensuring there’s plenty of space for your needs and comfort.

Is there a designated space for work?

You have plenty of flexible workspace options to suit your mood and your requirements for the day.
What types of people will I be sharing the home with?

We try to attract fellow digital nomads or long-term travelers. There will often be a community manager who may share the house with you and encourage networking and events for the villa.
Booking
When/how will you refund my security deposit?

Security deposit is typically returned shortly after your stay ends. We will review your room for any excessive damage that would impact your security deposit return. Normal wear and tear are expected.

Are kids allowed?

As this is essentially a working environment, our facilities aren’t baby-proofed or child-friendly. Having kids around can be a major distraction for other colivers and you. So, it’s a no.
Amenities
Are all rooms furnished?

The common areas come fully furnished.
Bedrooms are furnished with everything essential and a great desk or work space, you can rent second screens if you need.
You can add/remove any furniture (including the hanging of pictures) as long as the room is returned to its original condition at the end of your tenancy.
Any meals/snacks included?

Yes, there should always be fruit and water in the cooler around the house. But you have a kitchen that you can use anytime you want to prepare your food.
There are really grocery stores nearby for your convenience.
Are the private bedrooms cleaned frequently?

Entire and deep cleaning is carried out every week, including linen and towel changes.
What are the laundry options?

We have laundry machines available to everyone and someone on site who can do your laundry for you, for a small fee.
Can I book additional cleaning?

Yes. We offer additional room cleaning on demand.
Is there a kitchen where I can cook my own food?

You have access to a great kitchen that you can use anytime you want to prepare your food.
We ask that you clean up any mess you make during and after food preparation.
Can I work in the communal area?

You have plenty of flexible workspace options to suit your mood and your requirement for the day.
Do you have storage space for my stuff/luggage?

Yes, but it's limited. Only for some bags/luggage. No furniture.
Are the communal areas cleaned frequently?

Yes. The communal areas are cleaned at least once a week. Bedrooms every other week.
What types of shared spaces are there?

We have garden cove, a house terrace and a balcony with a large open pool terrace overlooking Greenpoint.

We also have a podcast room, movie/lounge room, grand dining room, kitchen and a beautiful rooftop with views of Seapoint, Signal Hill and the CBD.
