This isn't just a place to stay - it's a place to land. A cozy, sunlit house where you can surf in the morning, work with an ocean view, cook with strangers-turned-friends, and feel right at home along Portugal's stunning coast. Get a glimpse of the sea from our inspiring coworking space, then spend the evening gathered around the fire pit and relaxing in the steaming jacuzzi. Walk to the stunning Praia do São Lourenço for sunset, a quick dip, or a chilled out surf. Then get a great night's rest in our comfortable bedrooms, each coming with a private bathroom, soft cotton sheets, and fluffy pillows and duvets.

Our huge coworking space has two sound-dampening phone booths for private calls, a dozen workspaces, and comfy sofas with a few views of the countryside and the sea, in case you want a non-traditional spot to work from.

Our gourmet kitchen is designed by and for people who love food. We've stocked it with all you need to make (and share) a great meal. It's also designed for sharing: we installed two ovens, two dishwashers, and two sinks to ensure there's not a queue to make your dinner.

The main social area expands from the living room and dining room outside into our expansive deck, complete with a fire pit and the jacuzzi.

Every night, you can walk 2 minutes to the most stunning cliffside to watch the sunset over the Atlantic. A few more minutes down the cliffside stairs and you're on the beach!

This is a home where people can work, rest, and be part of something fun, spontaneous, and real. It's a thoughtfully designed place where strangers become friends over shared dinners, surf sessions, and side-by-side workdays.

About São Lourenço

São Lourenço is a sleepy neighborhood on the north side of Ericeira, named after the local beach where you can catch powerful waves, enjoy a quiet swim on calm days, or simply take in the stunning coastal views from the cliffs. It’s a peaceful spot popular with surfers, beachgoers, and anyone looking to soak up the natural beauty of Portugal’s coastline. The area is also a great jumping-off point for coastal hiking, with scenic trails leading along dramatic cliffs and hidden coves.

Nearby, residents can explore the charming village of Ribamar, known for its traditional seafood restaurants where you can savor grilled fish, clams, and local specialties. A short 10-minute drive brings you to Ericeira’s lively town center, where cobbled streets are lined with cafés, fresh seafood restaurants, bakeries, and small boutiques. Mornings might begin with a visit to the bustling fish market, while evenings often end with live music drifting from tucked-away bars. All along the coastline you'll find stunning cliffs, golden beaches, and easygoing charm. As Europe’s first World Surfing Reserve, it draws wave lovers from around the globe.

For day trips, we're ideally located: Lisbon is about 40 minutes by car, offering all the culture, history, and nightlife of the capital. Sintra, with its fairytale palaces and lush gardens, is just 35 minutes away. Cascais, known for its elegant marina and seaside promenade, is reachable in about 45 minutes. And if you’re up for more surf or exploring, Peniche and the famous waves of Supertubos are around an hour’s drive. (All of these places can be accessed by bus as well).

We accept pets on a case-by-case basis. Since we have a pup of our own, we need to screen pets to ensure harmony!

All rooms are available for double occupancy. We only have double beds though, so guests need to be comfortable in the same bed.

Yes! We have a beautiful, sunlit coworking space with more than a dozen work spaces, plus two sound dampening phone booths, a designated bathroom, a printer, and a chillout area with sofas. The coworking space has the best view in the house! You can see the rolling hills of the countryside and get a glimpse of the sea.

We look for like-minded people, which means remote workers and curious travelers who are interested in adventure, sharing skills and fun activities, cooking together, and love the beach. Given we're a world-renowned surf destination, there will likely be a few surfers staying here as well.

Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.

Otherwise, we ask for a small amount to use the laundry facilities: 2 euro for washing and 2 euro for drying (drying is generally not available in the summer, with exceptions for urgent needs of course).

Absolutely! All our rooms are fully furnished with cozy beds, bedside tables, and storage for your clothes and belongings. We want to make sure you feel right at home!

We regularly prepare delicious family meals to share! The cost of the food is split between everyone who chooses to participate.

Yes! We clean them every week so they're sparkling clean.

We’re happy to offer on-site laundry facilities for our community! You can use our washer and dryer for a small fee, and while drying might not be available in summer, we can make exceptions for urgent needs. Let us know if you need help!

We have a gourmet kitchen stocked with everything you'll need to make a great meal. It's a communal space you'll want to hang out in!

Although our house is outside the city center, we're lucky to have two amazing restaurants just down the street. Jardim offers amazing burritos, Hawaiian food, and sandwiches. Golfinho Azul is a Portuguese seafood restaurant with an epic view. As you go into the next neighborhood, Ribamar, you'll have a wide selection of Portuguese restaurants to choose from. And then in the center of Ericeira there are tons of restaurants, bars, and cute coffee shops.
