Circa Pyren'escape
Durante un viaggio di famiglia, subito dopo il confino, quando ci chiedevamo come dare più senso alle nostre attività, abbiamo deciso di trasformare la nostra grande foresteria in un luogo di incontro per persone che vogliono realizzare progetti.
Il concetto di coliving, conosciuto dai bambini in viaggio, è emerso naturalmente e ha mobilitato tutta la famiglia. Un anno e mezzo dopo, siamo arrivati e le Terrasses de Saubissan lasciano il posto a Pyren'Escape, il primo co-living rurale dei Pirenei francesi.

Pyren'Escape è un'esperienza unica per entrare in contatto con gli altri e riconnettersi con se stessi.
L'accesso a una vita ricca, intensa e significativa, condivisa con una comunità benevola di spiriti liberi e creativi, nel cuore dei Pirenei.
Che si tratti di un soggiorno di telelavoro in montagna, di una vacanza o dell'organizzazione di uno stage o di un seminario, scoprite questo luogo atipico con 1001 possibilità.
Chi siamo? Ex Les Terrasses de Saubissan, Pyren'Escape è un'antica fattoria situata nel cuore dei Pirenei, dove le montagne sono più alte.
Quando l'abbiamo acquistata nel 2005, il nostro nucleo familiare, composto da Clairie, Vincent e i loro due figli, Babou e Yaël, non era specificamente destinato all'accoglienza.
Abbiamo saputo che intorno a una pensione, per quasi 20 anni, gestita da Vincent, mentre Clairie si dedicava all'architettura, che Babou partiva per girare il mondo come grande atleta e che Yaël cresceva tranquillamente.
Poi arrivò la crisi del covido e le domande che ne seguirono. I genitori si avviavano verso la fine della loro carriera professionale, mentre i figli erano all'inizio, e ci siamo presi del tempo per riflettere sul futuro di questa grande fattoria e sui desideri di ogni membro della famiglia.
Vincent e Clairie volevano continuare a ricevere staccandosi dal ritmo monotono delle vacanze e dando più significato all'accoglienza, Babou e Yaël volevano continuare la loro vita da indipendenti digitali.
Appena terminato il confino, l'intera famiglia è partita per un viaggio in auto per riflettere sul percorso da seguire.
È così che è nata l'idea di un coliving. Avevamo un angolo di paradiso in una regione preservata e volevamo poterlo condividere con persone che si prendessero il loro tempo. Il legame è stato trovato tra i genitori, innamorati del loro territorio (ma che amano partire) e i figli, ultraconnessi con il mondo (ma che amano tornare).
Quindi, poiché ci piacciono le sfide e perché in questa ognuno poteva trovare il suo posto, abbiamo creato il primo co-living rurale nei Pirenei francesi.
Clairie e Vincent sono la testa e le gambe di questo posto. Clairie progetta i piani, dirige i lavori; Vincent gestisce le prenotazioni, accoglie, mantiene e assume il ruolo di community manager.
Babou e Yaël sono i social manager, grazie alle loro competenze in materia di web e social network. Assicurano la visibilità del luogo, anche se non disdegnano di venirci a ricaricare regolarmente le batterie.
Partiamo per una nuova avventura che ha un senso, e speriamo davvero che vogliate unirvi alla nostra comunità e godere di un luogo magico. Vi aspettiamo!

What a fantastic six weeks. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.The house is located in a beautiful setting and is run by the hosts, two absolute legends, together with a team of volunteers who create a genuine community atmosphere. Every week, everyone gets together to discuss what’s happening, which activities are available, and what people would like to do. It’s all very spontaneous and relaxed, with nothing ever feeling forced.There’s something for everyone, from peaceful walks and hikes to more adventurous activities like paragliding and downhill mountain biking. For me, it felt like one giant playground.I was also surprised by how many local events are organized in the area, and every single one I attended was a lot of fun. It’s a great way to meet local people and experience the culture, which I really enjoyed.The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and working remotely with mountain views all around definitely does wonders!Once again, I thoroughly enjoyed every second of my stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for adventure, community, and an unforgettable experience.

So happy that I made the decision to spend some time at this place. Amazing house and people. I enjoyed every moment I spent there and I will definitely go back. There are also so many activities in the area and nice food. Thank you to the hosts ❤️🏞️
Amazing volunteers and a great community! Unfortunately, the rooms are very run down, the bedsheets felt like they have been in use for many, many years in a row, the carpet was dirty and a bit smelly, and all the kitchen appliances were also very old. I still had an amazing time and hope the rooms will be renovated soon! 😊
You'll love it here! The coliving with the big garden, fire pit, fruit trees, hammocks, and terrace is heaven on earth and serves the community really well.
The staff is the beating heart of it; helpful, fun, good spirited, and relaxed, making sure things are running smoothly, but also that the community is woven well together and knows about all possible activities and happenings far and wide.
The coliving and the staff create a great atmosphere, so it was really easy to build a connected, active community and to make some close friends. The internet is good, the office nice, the kitchen well equipped.
And do not get me started on the beautiful nature just behind the coliving, or on both ends of the border - I did many hikes, some climbing, and just lots of being outside and enjoying the peace in the village.
I will definitely come back again (and again).

I had a really wonderful stay at the coliving. The staff was so helpful with arranging car hire and recommendations of where to go. There was a really welcoming, community vibe with activities and shared meals happening regularly. I had an en-suite double room with a nice view. Good facilities, a lovely outdoor space with a beautiful view, and different spaces to work, relax, and socialise.
Experience for life at a fair price! The hospitality and mentality of the people here are superb; this is how I’d live my life with anyone, anywhere, and anytime, thank you all! 🤗
