Our property is nestled on a lush, forested property at the edge of the town of Santa Elena. It is one of the most welcoming and beautiful hotels in the Monteverde area. The newly built hotel features modern, well-equipped rooms, along with bright and spacious common areas where guests can relax, and a co-working space for those who want to work. Our friendly local staff is ready to make your stay unforgettable, and each morning begins with a complimentary, freshly prepared breakfast you’ll want to linger over. In the evenings, enjoy a sunset drink on one of our terraces, overlooking the valley and private gardens where you might just catch sight of a colorful bird or pretty butterfly.

Although Monteverde is all about biodiversity and animals, we might have members with potential allergies, so, unfortunately, we can’t allow people to bring pets with them. We want to make sure everyone can be happy in their communal home.

Yes, we have two great options for working! You can settle into our large breakfast space, which is usually quiet after 9:00 AM, although there may be some movement with staff and guests.
Alternatively, we also have an 'education space' dedicated to activities with the scholarship students we support as a social enterprise. The schedule of activities with the children varies, but is far less than 50% of the workweek.

Knowing that we are in Monteverde, we expect nature lovers. But also, given the fact that Hotel con Corazon is a social enterprise that supports at-risk youth in Monteverde we also expect socially conscious travellers.
Once you’ve been accepted and confirmed your ideal moving-in date, the host will be there to welcome you to your new home. They will help you settle in your room, show you around the space, and introduce you to the other community members. Once we’ve answered your questions, you will be given time to get settled and make yourself at home.
